GTA Area Knowledgeable Low T Doctors?

Seems like any average incompetent endo by only checking TT, he will learn or will lose patients left and right once they are educated.

I can’t believe you’re paying for this level of care, insane! I pay $250 up front and $120 per visit and all levels are checked, AI’s, HCG, FSH and even peptides are available.

So I ask you, what does this doctor that charges $450 offer than your ordinary average incompetent endo doesn’t?

Or my FREE uro. I’ve come to the realization that in Canada, you choose to see a Dr. strictly for the legal testosterone script… and some free labs. You are on your own after that.

It’s a totally different game up here with basically no options. Other than the doctor I mentioned I’m not aware of any other place around here that will offer you any sort of TRT.

I am close to the border so I’ll go and do my own bloodwork one of these days to see where all my levels are at. Think it’s around $199us

Just go to a walk in and say you don’t have a family doctor and want to get your hormones tested as you haven’t been feeling good and want to check everything out. Then go to life labs and access your results on line

Holy shit. Our info isn’t computerized and accessible by healthcare practitioners to see who our doctor is, or if we have one? I’d hate to get caught lying. Could any canucks confirm this?

There are lots of private clinics in Canada who have knowledgable doctors, you just have to locate them.

Most of the ones I’ve seen are the holistic type that do saliva tests and topical creams. Can you point me in the right direction?

yeah could you point me in the right direction as well?

Dr. Komer usually advises 1x/week shots. He told me he’s had many patients try different injection frequencies and that most come back to weekly. He’s not against multiple injections for any reason except the extra time it takes. He will write you a script for 25g syringes to inject and 18g to withdraw. I haven’t discussed Sub-Q with him, but even if he wrote you a script for it most Canadian insurance providers will only pay for these pins if they are for Diabetes.

The $450 is a surprise, he must have increased his fees since I joined up.

A couple points on this thread I wanted to correct - he WILL prescribe HCG without issue. He’ll also write for AI’s (Arimidex or Aromasin), but is really hesitant to do so unless you are really showing a need. I had these early on in my treatment and wish I never got started with them, both absolute nightmares for me, and not needed after simply lowering my dose.

Did he do other labs (TT, SHBG, etc) when you were having issues?

The place is jammed so I guess he decided to charge more. $450 is more than fair IMO. I have mostly everything covered under benefits so its well worth it to me. Have you paid anything above your original $150 since you’ve been there?
