Now where the fuck did I say testosterone causes prostate cancer? I didn’t even remotely imply that.
I think you’re getting too hung up on this study. Personally, I think the many proven benefits of green tea outweight a “chance” of decreased testosterone.
What are you even afraid of? Being less of a man?[/quote]
what’s the name of this website? Not afraid, but people spend $ and time maximizing natural production and sometimes resort to exogenous use of testosterone. i’m not hung up on anything, the OP was curious about the idea or reduced T production mentioned in the study. i am as well.

you are probably right, especially in big cities. i am definitely NOT saying green tea is bad for your health. just curious about the whole T-prostate-catchetin triangle.

OT, but on a sad/humorous note - I was in Beijing (sadly notorious for really bad air) in 1998 when Volvo was introducing a new catalytic process (that somehow involved the cars radiator) - the spent gasses that came out of the back of the car was cleaner than the air that went into the front of it…

wow. Thats totally believable. I went on a business trip with my father to China a couple times, and its air is so polluted its downright nasty. Worse than LA. Yea sometimes i wonder how long we could live if we went back in time with the knowledge we have now. But I guess in the end it doesn’t matter how much we pollute the earth, what with all this anti aging stuff and disease cures coming out. Maybe people having cancer and people with birth defects in vietnam is natures way of telling us things are out of balance. To quote George Carlin:
“The planet is fine. The people are fucked.”
