Government and Higher Education

Fleecing? It’s the only way many students are able to go to school. The interest rated are fixed and reasonable.

Much good that’s done, and making loans more accessible in the name of education is why tuition rates skyrocketed. Government created another revenue stream, and did so behind something infallible…education.

Yep, because “everyone deserved a house with a picket fence,” end if people could not afford it.

Government is like Vegas, every rule and policy favors the house.

Dead on. May be worse. Government lending to those who will never repay the debt.

The student loan bubble is worthy of its own thread.
