We haven’t had much direct interaction, but I learn something every time I read one of your posts. I believe you to be genuine, generous and an all around stand up guy. I’m sure your bride is a reflection of that. Best wishes!

Awe! it’s always nice to hear good stories about people in love!

Well put, I have never seen a harsh or mean spirited post in all the years I have read your work on here.

Many congratulations to you and your bride to be.

Congratulations! That’s a beautiful woman, Stu!

And to echo the above, I’d imagine everyone here has benefited at some point from your experience and willingness to give advice. Your patience and generosity would be a necessity in your job, and that seems to spill over to other parts of your life. That’s a very cool thing. So, since I’ll likely never give you any super awesome body building advice, this might be the only time I can share some words of wisdom with you, so here it is.

Finding someone you can really love, and who will love you right back is a gift. Some people go their whole lives without finding that. Remembering how blessed you are is part of the secret to making it last.

We only get one time around. One life. Having someone want to share that life with you is a privilege. You’ll likely be the last thing they see every night, and the first thing they see every morning. I know I didn’t fully understand that when I was marrying my college sweetheart more than 20 years ago. Always have gratitude for the privilege of sharing someone’s life.

If you can say “yes” to something your partner wants or needs, then say “yes”. It’s simple and if you both try to do that for each other, your lives will be that much better.

Life is a lot like a roller coaster. There are some unexpected twists and turns, with the occasional steep drop, and if you are lucky, some really exhilarating bursts of speed. Having someone there to share all of that with is a wonderful thing.

My best to you!
Puff

Hey Stu,We barely interact on the forums but I send you my sincerest congratulations dude.

Gongrats Stu. Best of luck with all the planning ahead of you.

Congrats! God bless!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Cat chuckled when I mentioned how I had to let everyone on T-Nation know, and how many views this little thread has had in just a few days. While not the biggest internet junkie herself (which is somewhat odd, as she’s a librarian and is very tech-savy), she realizes my connection to the folks on this site and accepts it -lol. (so understanding!)

So, you’ll be doing a LiveSpill and a live video feed during the ceremony then?

We look forward to seeing the pics of the groom, bride, and WiFi enabled MacBook.

Oh yeah, Cat’ll be pushing a prowler down the aisle!

I wish I would have thought about that for my wedding last year. We got married in the squat rack of my gym, decorated by bands and chains, by a powerlifting Preacher from WVA. The prowler would have been the perfect touch…

Congrats Stu!
