KBCThird and Bronx: While you live in New York and are more closely related to what happened there, I can respect that you’d feel a more personal tie to that event.
However, if you stand for something, you will be territorial, and with that comes protecting your territory.
And at the base, there is no difference. What is considered (i.e. may be subjective) your territory, you will defend.
Moving on doesn’t have to mean crawling under a rock with your tail between your legs, it means finishing things. Case in point, my 16 year old cousin. This kid was going out with a girl for almost a year, and he found out she’d been messing around with a guy from another school. Peter (my cousin) thinks there is no ‘manly’ way to end things, as he’s a rather laid back, shy kid and this girl is the class POA, most popular girl in school. I told him to rethink things, reminding him of several glorious bridge-burnings I’ve done myself, and a week later this is what happens.
Pete walked into the cafeteria during the biggest lunch period of the day and said something to the effect of, “I know about (insert name), whatever, I guess we’re through. But I’d like to be the bigger person in this and give you your stuff back.” A good number of people are giving him their attention, and in front of about 400 kids Pete drops a pair of well-worn soccer kneepads on her tray.
Apparently he didn’t hook up for a while but he now has a nice non-slut friend who he’s going to prom with, and Girl #1 was branded the class whore and lost many of her friends. Now THAT is moving on.

In all seriousness, the best revenge is to just walk away from this “relationship” without a word. She is obviously troubled. Don’t make her problems your problems. Cut your losses. Revenge is for people with too much time on their hands. You see the problem… Fail fast and move on.
And don’t fret about the guy… You need to run your own house. You can’t blame a guy who owes you nothing from turning down a free bj. Would you be any different?
