I downloaded some music from a torrent site. Now I have the songs in some weird-ass file format (.flac) that won’t play in my iTunes.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don’t bother with torrents anymore…always trying to find seeders for certain files, etc.
Forums such as warez-bb.org have free registration, over 500k members who contribute and share virus free files - all you really need is a file sharing account such as rapidshare, although it’s no essential, depending on where you live - it’s jsut so much easier.

Flac is lossless , no reason to be disappointed. Foobar2000 supposedly let’s you convert flac to mp3’s. I use Xilisoft.

If you’re going to torrent, make sure you download and always load PeerGuardian. It keeps prying eyes (i.e. gov’t and your ISP) from your business.

You can NOT prevent an ISP and therefore the government from snooping on and recording every single bit of data you transmit or recieve.
You can encrypt your shit but there are many ways around this like transparent proxies…
That tool just keeps a list of banned torrent user’s IPs who try to upload corrupted data.
