Good frame for 16?

No… worries. For some of us on here . I would say it wasn’t that funny to begin with.

@ZMFitness is right. Lift, eat, rest, repeat. Do that and you will be great. It might not seem like it at the moment, but there are plenty of people here who are super helpful. You could even start your own log. If you do, you will probably have a couple of guys who will follow and make suggestions and try to help you. Starting the habit now will be fantastic for you. Good luck on your fitness journey.

I’ll take “Things I never thought I’d have to say” for $1000 Alex.

I’m going to have to search this thing out because I really don’t get it.

It’s worth appreciating that clavicle length has a long established history in the world of lifting: it’s not a new meme

Like, that’s 2008…

So it’s really just a desire to to have a wide chest, which is something that’s been around forever. Okay, makes sense. I guess it just comes across as some weird whiney neuroticism whenever I see it. Like young guys suddenly think their collar bones are the most important aesthetic feature. The only time I’ve had someone comment on my collar bone is when I broke it.

Yeah, it’s the cycle physical culture. Before that, dudes were all about trying to get their rib box as big as possible

The issue is more just degree of outreach. “Looksmaxers” existed back in the day of comicbook ads, but they could only reach so many desperate nerds that way. Social media vultures can prey on SO many more insecure males these days, creating a new problem and selling a new solution.

Maybe we need to bring back making kids worry about if their ribs were showing!

Some kind of overhead pressing and some kind of medial delt raises.

Alright, I need to apoligize for being a dick. You seem like a genuine person.

Several respected posters have given you great advice, but don’t be afraid to ask questions. We all started somewhere.

No problem and ty for your advice

You need to shift your perspective. Do you treat each life decision the same? Do you decide to stop going to school because your potential to become an astrophysicist is bleak?

Instead of focusing on artificial potentials, you should focus on things that make you happy and/or improve your life. If bodybuilding makes you happy, who cares about your new potential? Make the BEST version of YOU. That’s what you CAN control. If bodybuilding / strength training isn’t your passion anyway, then find something else that is.
