You’ll have a great time. I’d hop around the B&B’s so you can get a full view of the country. You won’t be able to understand a damn thing they say, but it’s worth it.

Make a quick trip up into Belfast. You’ll see a depressed and conquered people.

Free North Ireland.

Can you please read some fucking history instead of talking shit! Northern Ireland voluntary opted to stay within Britain in 1921, VOLUNTARILY, the majority of the population since then have supported the union with Britain because many of the people residing in Northern Ireland have Unionist roots - although support is generally decreasing for the union. Why do you people just ignore shit like this. VOLUNTARILY, MAJORITY support.
what part of Ireland are you from?
I think his name gives it away, Why what the fuck does that matter anyway?

What’s next? The Blacks VOLUNTARILY submitted to Apartheid rule in South Africa? I mean, they outnumbered the whites by about 8-1, so they could’ve changed it if they really wanted to?

Now what the FUCK are you talking about?I find what you just said totally insulting. It’s totally incorrect,no part of Ireland decided to remain within Britain themselves, you absolute tool.A 26 county free state was the only offer the British government were willing to give the people of Ireland so rather than allow more blood to be shed(ironic outcome, wasn’t it),they decided it was the most peaceful route to the entire island being free.

NOBODY in Ireland was happy with this but it was a compromise that people felt had to be made.It was a deliberate move by the British to keep a presence on the island even though Northern Ireland turned out to be more trouble for them than it was initially worth.

So don’t you dare try and preach to anyone about having the wrong idea, you fucking idiot.Maybe you should read some fucking history.I think you owe an apology to the Irish people in the thread for what you said. And if you’re Irish, then Jesus,I don’t want to see the patch of muck where you come from.
WRONG,

The Irish Free State Act of 1922 (LOOK IT THE FUCK UP BECAUSE YOU CLEARLY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF IT) allowed a period of 1 month for the Northern six counties to opt out of the newly created Irish Free State. The 32 Irish counties WERE on offer, and the 6 counties of Northern Ireland was actually a part of the Free state for a period of two days before it opted out. Just do a fucking google search you idiot to find the appropiate information. Northern Ireland was given the option of opting out of an Irish Republic because they had a Unionist majority!!!

In future could you please represent an actual factual history of Northern Ireland. I live in Northern Ireland, was born here and know just a little about its history. WHY do people just fucking ignore parts of Irish history. Unionist who are Irish and yet British much like the Scotch and Welsh did actually had/have a voice and were the MAIN force in the partition of Ireland because they supported a union with the United Kingdom.

Hate to admit it but you are right, on the 5th of december 1922 the 32 county free state came into existence and on the 7th of december 1922 the 6 counties pulled out and rejoined the u.k.
