Go Pistons!

I REALLY wanted “Diesel” and the Heat to take it all…just so I could see Shaq rub it in Kobe’s face…

Speaking of Kobe…WHY THE HELL do they have a press conference with the Lakers about the possibility of Jackson returning…and they ask more questions to KOBE than the General Manager/Chief of Operations?

Why was Kobe even AT the conference???

Geez…

(Let me know if I’m way off here, guys…but "WTF???)

You’re not way off, not at all, it’s rediculous.

AM 570 in L.A. has this fucking idiot named “Vic the Brick” Jacobs who talks about the Lakers and Kobe and Jackson incessantly. “Lakers fans… Feeelin’ You!” I want to find him, choke him, put a hood on his head and have photos taken of me pointing and giggling at his tiny pee pee.

The Pistons didn’t have their shit together last night, it was terrible to watch. Unless you’re a Spurs fan of course.

Conversley, did you guys catch the pre-game at all? WTF is up with having Alanis sing the Anthem THEN have have Will Smith come out and do his little “Switch” diddy?

In my opinion, once the anthem is sung, it’s time to get it on.

And what is up with San Antonio’s arena announcer? You guys have had to put up with that all season?

GAINER.

Spurs, baby!!! Even though he went to Wake, Tin Duncan is THE man! Detroit has NO answer for him. Spurs in 7.

What’s the issue with him? (Seriously, I wanna know. I don’t pay much attention.)

If Detroit has no answer, why will the series go to 7 games?

I, too, think the series will stretch out, but only BECAUSE the Pistons (L. Brown) is so good at adjusting.

Allow myself to quote…myself:
Right Side Up wrote:
Ginobli is so scrappy and has an ability to get to the front of the rim in the face of all 5 defenders…
…and Game 1 did not disappoint, what with 22 second half points and consistent daggers to the Pistons’ best comeback efforts. They cut the Spurs’ lead to 7, then the Spurs cut Ginobli loose…

Who can guard him? He finishes the most unpractical shots, and does so consistently…this guy is nuts. He’s a lot of fun to watch.

You’re right, he’s pretty stinking unstoppable, if it weren’t for the Spurs playing the Pistons, I’d be an even bigger fan of his play.

I think Larry was outcoached last night as well. Popovich pretty much made him his stable-boy.

Oh and Gothic, the arena announcer sounded either really high or really nervous, I can’t tell which.

Because baskeball is a ‘TEAM’ sport.

Detroit had no answer for Shaq either but Detroit still won because they play great team basketball.

HAHA! I’ll have to watch it again and listen for that. LOL!

Eh, I don’t know about this. Let’s just say the Shaq of late isn’t the Shaq of old. I was surprised at how Shaq’s offense has be reduced to the one direction jump hook. I thought Wallace did a nice job on him, for the most part.

Of course, you’re right, Bball is a TEAM sport…and these are both excellent TEAMS.

oh yeah, Go Pistons becaue Chauncey was a CU Buffalo!

Spurs fans, here’s what you’re facing, in case you were wondering.

GAINER

Wow. He scored 31 whole points in a COLLEGE game. Amazing.

After those first five shots, he went 2 for 11 from 3point range. Not that impressive. Any time you gamble you have to know when to cut your losses.

Game 1: Gold

It was cool how the crowd never lost hope during that pathetic first half. It was like everyone knew what was coming in the second half. There was never a sense of desperation in the building, just a sense of waiting until someone (other than Duncan) stepped up for the Spurs. I haven’t been to a game in a long while, but this was the best I’ve ever seen in person.

I don’t see the Pistons having a chance over a seven game series. The Spurs of old were undeniably soft, but these young foreign punks have no sense of awe. Nobody is going to be able to get in their heads.

The announcer was either stoned or freaked by the national attention. Or both.

Did you get the Rudy’s BBQ you were hoping for?

I told my husband, “Hey! Let’s look for a T-Nation guy in the stands!” LOL

Did you enjoy San Antonio?

Got to Rudy’s.
1 lb. brisket
1 lb. turkey
2 sausage links
1 loaf of bread

Brought home a big ass bottle of sauce.

I love San Antonio. I didn’t get to make it to the Riverwalk, but I did get to hit a little dive bar that I used to frequent. I really like the SBC center. Much better atmosphere than the Alamodome.

SWEET! I love their sauce.

Sound slike you had fun! And yes, I definitely prefer the SBC Center over the 'dome.

How long have you been away? (We’re an hour out I-10 West, have been since October.)

Playing in the FINALS is just a formality. The SPURS are going to take it. The championship comes back to South Texas where it belongs.

Pistons played a fantastic game tonight. Very complete effort from everyone. Darko even got in for the final minute.

It was interesting that the spurs just seems to roll over in the second half especially the 4th quarter. what gives? I hope that we have a series now. I think this win gives the pistons a lot of confidence going into game 4. we’ll see what happens.

It doesn’t look like it is the blow out everyone thought it was going to be. I just wish the refs and Hubie Brown would get off of Tim Duncan’s and Ginobili’s dick. Nonetheless these are 2 great teams and the last 2 games have been great to watch. I hope Detroit has gained a bit more respect from this series.

By the way. I don’t know if you all realise this but Hubie Brown is also and actor. Check it out.

It’s always the refs fault.

Maybe the league, sensing that the Spurs were unstoppable and clearly on their way to a sweep, have conspired to allow the Pissedons to win three games in order to extend the series and increase viewership.

Yes,
That must be what it is. That is not at all what I was getting at but okay. I guess I would be bitter too after last nights loss. I know I was after game 5.
