The night was a success, randy moss caught a TD. Other than that, screw both teams.

God damn another game they outplayed the other team and didn’t come away with the victory.
Ben Watson playing with axle grease before the game didn’t help.
Oh well I guess I can take a silver lining that Mayo is going to be a monster of a linebacker.
Great game though… congrats Jets fans.[/quote]
What game where you watching? The Jets owned the first half, the Pats dominated the 3rd quarter but the 4th was even. I dont think either team out played the other. Bret looked great and Castle made some great plays too.
Between this game and the Cards vs. Niners game, I dont have a clue what Sunday will bring

The first half score was not indicative of how both teams were playing at the time. All I’m saying is the Pats had numerous opportunities to take leads and make the Jets play catch up but they squandered the opportunities presented. Take the first 2 drives of the 3rd quarter for example.

Same could be said for the Jets. They had chances to put the game away but dropped some passes, one in the end zone.
Doesn’t much matter how well you move the ball if you have to settle for 3 points. Not taking anything away from the Pats b/c it really was a great game, but you still have to get it in the end zone regardless.

Aww man print, you would really dig this burger place we have here called burger Mike’s. He makes the best burger on the menu called the ‘go jets’ burger. So, you kind of have to say it to order it. Ghey! In the bay area no less. What a c***. Also, he won’t serve fries. Just potato salad or macaroni. He is just not right. I bet he’d give fries to Namath. :o)

SORE LOSER!!!
The Pats should have been blown out, is was a mental challenge for the Jets to hurdle over them. It had been in while since we
have beat them. The number one reason we got Favre was for this game and he did what he had to do.
It sure would be nice to have one Pats fan humble himself and say
“good game”. At the end of the day a W is W no matter how you got it.

Always thought Farve was a stud! Too bad I don’t bet with my heart.
I’m a Pat’s fan. Just wanted to get that out there.
The Jets played ok.
They BARELY squeaked out a win in OT against a team who had:
A horrible holding call that should have guaranteed our loss.
A missed snap and major yardage loss.
2 Retarded turnovers that gave huge chances and yardages to the Jets.
Honestly; y’all should have won by more then 3pts in OT.
but a win is a win i guess.

Why is it so easy to say we squeaked it out, and than excuses follow?
Sure we should have won by more than 3 pts, and the chance was there for the Pats to win by 7. I suppose you want to say the 2nd holding call wasn’t a penalty either?
We turned the ball over as well and you guys couldn’t turn it into points.
But as Rock said a win is a win and this one was for first place, I will take it.
oh that second holding call was totally holding haha…but if it was between a holding call or a 6pt play…egh…good choice.
we’ll see the jets again. grr

UGH YEAH I am the towel boy, you got a problem with that?
it was a good game.
There were a few questionable non-calls in the first half that went the Jets way, but its part of the game.
The Jets have a good team, and flat out played better. They deserved the win.
Pats have the defense or lack there of to blame. But its not like the Jets have an average offense either.

Apparently you missed my post that ended in “congrats to the Jets fans”
It was a fantastic game.
I was just throwing out my opinion on the game. It doesn’t make me a sore loser. If I thought the Pats were straight up outplayed I would admit it but it wasn’t how I felt watching that game.

I am giving you a hard time ATG except for Mayo I just didn’t see a lot out of the def. I also wasn’t impressed with some of Belicheats play calling. Should have gone for the 3 in the 2nd qtr instead of the first down.
They were outplayed in the 1st half though. Halftime adjustments made it a game.
I got take these brief shiny moments when I can get them.
