From my experience, and this is strictly opinion, rarely do women cultivate many relationships for purely friendship’s sake. Now, granted, they may have one or two close friends; but, I’ve never seen many that have tons of girlfriends because it breeds drama. I’m in the Navy and I just returned from my second overseas deployment. Want to talk about an interesting dynamic… Watch the women onboard an aircraft carrier go out to sea with each other for 8 months. Close quarters, bad food, and 4,500 dudes all competing for their attention. Most women hate each other, strictly based on the fact that their each other’s competition. It’s quite interesting.
