Getting Off TRT Due to Hair Loss

My hair is not regrowing… And my extreme fatigue is back to pre-TRT levels. Misery on both fronts…

hi there… im sorry for your frustration.
i have a few questions and i apologize in advance if you have already explained or discussed it elsewhere on this site or even in this thread… my memory is …lets say … not the best lately.

  1. how long were you on TRT and what was your dosage/protocol?
  2. when did you officially stop and did you take anything to restart your natural production?
  3. did you try the rogaine or costco brand minoxidil? if so, for how long? it takes weeks for that stuff to work… dont expect any results in a few days… the hair has follicles need to be stimulated, the DHT on the scalp needs to be decreased and the hair needs time to actually grow… so this entire process takes weeks and months not days.so if its only been a week that you have been using it,. please dont give up keep using it and be patient.
  4. asides from the hair issues… can you please honestly tell me how you felt before and while on TRT? did you feel a positive change from TRT while on it? did it help you and fix many of your problems?
  5. if the rogaine fails and if you truly give it a shot for 3 months minimum and no growth comes back, then it would be time to look into other alternatives… i too am doing the same… i think i may have had a bit of a placebo affect and tricked my mind into thinking more hair has grown back than it actually did if it did at all… but im still using the rogaine and still keeping hope alive BUT i have started to consider and look into other hair growth alternatives … they are much more expensive but besides that and being naturally bald we have no choice… well there are many men doing glue on VERY realistic hair pieces these days, you can see those videos all over youtube,… mainly black men do this and it looks so real but… its a toupee and its not permanent… i feel dumb and pathetic even considering this…

Brother.

I have been off and on TRT and have hair loss. Hair is extremely important to me and finasteride gave me bad side effects. I control my hair loss with topical dutasteride, dutasteride mesotherapy AND CB-03-01 (or RU58841). Topical Dutasteride unlike topical finasteride has given me no sides and the vast majority has no sides on it as it does not reduce serum DHT, just scalp DHT. So first of all, you can have both. Just look at Derek from more plate more dates. Used all steroids and on TRT, diffuse thinner and has a full head of hair and he was balding badly. I know him and no hair transplants. Just RU58841 and Finasteride.

Secondly, MPB is not caused by DHT. It’s caused by all circulating androgens. This is why nuking your DHT with oral dutasteride will not prevent balding from TRT. Testosterone itself also causes miniaturization and MPB. You need RU58841 or CB-03-01 as a topical anti androgen to prevent test from attaching to the follicle’s receptors.

If you combined both plus a growth factor (minoxidil or laser cap) then you can be safely on TRT.

You can have hair like a lion and fuck like one, just be smart about it.

You can buy topical dutasteride and mesotherapy online without prescription: https://fueclinic.com/services/treatments/topical-dutasteride/

2.5 years. First 6 months around 100mg weekly, then 22-24 mg every other day, HCG 200 iu twice per week, CABERGOLINE 1/4 tablet (forgot in mg, very small dosage) twice a week.

My thread with numbers is here

Stopped on December 16, 2021. Took HCG 500iu 3 times per week for 2 weeks, now on Clomid 1/4 tablet (I believe that’s 0.25mg) every day, supposed to be on it for 6 weeks, then test LH, FSA.

Started Rogaine immideately when stopped TRT. Also microneedling with a Dermapen once a week…

While on TRT, I though that my improvement in fatigue e, energy, depression was no more than 20%. Now that I stopped TRT, the worsening seems like being at 30-40% worse…

How do you apply both drugs together? Some time apart twice of each one per day? I have to work so can’t really wait even 1 hr apart.

Is finasteride that effective to REVERSE hairloss??

I just started yesterday, along with minoxidil. I figured I could at best mitigate hairloss

I’m not on TRT, but I heard finasteride can cause boner problems, so I’m re-upping my sildenafil soon

Finasteride mediated ED is neurologically/hormonally mediated. Look up post-finasteride syndrome.

Speaking of PDE5 inhibitors, have you tried tadalafil (Cialis)? Lasts 36 hours, so you don’t have to meticulously plan out when you’re going to have sex due to the window of time by which Viagra works within.

On the other hand, depending on where you reside procuring Viagra can be really simple. I remember when I visited the UK a little over 12 months ago I got some Viagra OTC (Viagra connect). It’s pretty neat

Not in 90% of cases. But you can maintain what you have

Loss of libido and ED are completely different subjects.

Use Topical Dutasteride, much safer than finasteride and way stronger to prevent hair loss.

Nice I get my 20mg sildenafil from my urologist. I should ask him about tadalafil, but I def feel the sildenafil for days. It’s my first date tactic

Before starting TRT, i use to use generic viagra and i can honestly say… yes it DID produce erections BUT,. i noticed a serious decrease in sensation and pleasure of sex when i was on it and when i compared it to a natural erection. I ended up only using it a handful of times,. then TRT solved my issues for good.

ok, so i need some help regarding the topical dutasteride. I remember moreplatesmoredates use to sell a concoction which i believe was topical duta and minoxidil? i cant find the info or page on this on his site… what i want to know is what is the BEST topical solution thus far? straight topical dutasteride 0.1%? OR dutasteride 0.1% with minoxidil 5%?

also,… it is quite expensive,. i tried to get it locally from a compounding pharmacy here in canada but they are unable to get it. I then stumbled upon a users post, he said that you can make the topical concoction by simply taking 20 5mg dutasteride pills and crushing them into a find powder then mixing that powder into 60ml of minoxidil solution,. Any idea if this will work? its WAYYYY cheaper to do it this way…

also the topical duta i heard you only need to apply it once or twice a week as it has a long half life… but if u shampoo and shower daily,… wouldnt u need to apply it daily as well as it would wash off in the shower?

any idea if topical duta can be purchased in canada?

What exactly is RU58841??

PLEASE guide me as to the most affordable best way to regrow what i lost and keep what i have by way of a topical solution.

THANKS

Could you please tell us what’s the shelf life of that thing? Does it list expiration date?

Topical Dutasteride 6 months but I normally buy every 3 months to ensure the potency is there. This is not based on any evidence but my own paranoia that it get’s weaker as I see a little more shedding

The mesotherapy bottle is good for 3 months

Thanks. Can I ask you why you use both if Masotherapy includes Dutasteride? Is just Masotherapy alone not enough?

It does. Dutasteride 0.05% plus vitamins and growth factors.
It’s quite effective

I know what topical dutasteride is but, Can u pls provide the following, what is:

Mesotherapy:

Ru58841:

And can regrowth occur by using ONLY topical dutasteride?

Thanks

It can but doesn’t always happen

You need to try for yourself

So do you apply both, Mesotherapy solution and Dutasteride?

I’ve filled out that ordering form of their website, but got no reply…
