All women in China who have hit the quota for the number of children allowed are forced to get them. There have been numerous cases of women getting them removed by illegal medical practitioners and hiding out in the rural areas in the past.

I’m not sure how they fucked it up so bad. There was a similar overpopulation problem in S.E Asia during the time the One Child Policy (1979) was passed but over here the government just did stuff like reduce or completely take away incentives and tax rebates for extra children and went on mass advertising campaigns telling people not to have more than one or 2.
We realized it was a fuckup 20 years ago and are now rely on attracting immigrants to make up for the falling birth rates. China only changed their policy 2 years ago IIRC.
They can always do a proper “re-education” campaign in the Xinjiang region for the next generation. Hell, they had kids turning in their parent for being counter revolutionaries during the Cultural Revolution. This shouldn’t be too hard lol.

My understanding of the recent events is that much of the opposition to Netanyahu is personal in nature - there are significant right aisle hard liners when it comes to policy but many of them dislike Bibi on personal grounds and some of the accusations that have been leveled at him. They’ve gotten fed up enough to form a coalition.
