http://www.updown.com/ is a NO RISK stock market simulator where you can learn all about the stock market, practice placing trades and market timing and all that, while not risking a penny. Even if you don’t have money now, you should learn about it for when you DO have money to risk.
http://foundationcenter.org/ teaches you EVERYTHING about starting and running non-profit organizations - great places to write shit off and reduce your tax burden (wink wink, nod nod)
Great idea for this thread OP! Keep 'em coming!
A lot of great sites were mentioned in here, including a ton that I’ve never heard of. I’m excited. If you want to possibly learn something and also have a little fun while your’re at it, try:
It keeps me entertained for hours at a time, and has a ton of lists that are educational. Many are just plain fun, but you can still learn some fascinating things.
It has some pretty difficult quizzes to keep you sharp and some not so difficult quizzes for funzies.
This is where I learn about training.
But really, good thread idea, lots of good websites listed in here.
One idea is to download the ‘Stumble!’ application to your browser toolbar (for those of you who don’t know what it is, it is a button that you click and it brings you to random web pages). It allows you to customize what you stumble upon by selecting from various subjects of interest, so you don’t have to spend all day sifting through coal for the occasional diamond.
That shit can be addictive, though.
just make shit up. half of it will be true just by natural odds. its science dude.
