Not really I just feel like the writers are throwing stuff on the walls and seeing what sticks, so the cats have no knowledge of tech and Panthro can drive that tank like he stole it already? I’ve watched it since the begining and it hasn’t really done much for me I don’t care for the whole Thundarians are techno idiots thing it’s just not interesting

It better be Alien if they expect to mess with Thor lol

God of Thunder!

oh yeah, the other Avengers are cool too.

Skrulls maybe?

That’s what I was thinking and it could set up a Part 2 with an Invasian style storyline

I can’t speak for the console people that definitely have different game preferences, but MW3 has 0 chance against BF3 on PC.

But… there is no Panthro =(
Panthro can’t be done right unless he’s got a voice deeper than Vin Diesel. Also, I’ve only seen the first ep and they could still bring him in. They didn’t show a body…and the whole plot seems to revolve around “technology” being a myth…when Panthro was the main one building all of the gadgets once they leave Third Earth.

My guess? The cat who came back tried to kill Panthro but didn’t succeed.
Thundercats losing technology in time is an amazing idea. A highly advanced race “forgetting” science during long distance space travel and reverting to magic and mysticism is a fantastic twist when you consider that it is usually done in reverse; normally, magic is lost and science gained.

I haven’t seen this yet but you’ve just persuaded me.

Did you see the first episode?

Panthro and the other Cat go out to find the book of omens. Only one returns…and based on what we grew up knowing about Panthro, everyone watching should ahve guessed he was still alive.

Yeah, in that society, the royal family had been sheltered from the knowledge of “technology”…which is why Lion-o was looking for blackmarket proof of it.

It makes perfect sense that Panthro found tech on the outside and was “killed” so the secret could be kept. The other cat returned and basically laughed at the idea of finding any tech outside the walls of the city…which we know is busllhit as the viewer.

I don’t know man, I consider that a way better attempt than I thought I would get.

Yeah Grune the Destroyer comes back and the fake Panthro is Mumm-Ra. Grune was a disembodied ghost like Jagga in the original show.

Chris Evans on the set fighting two guys I wonder what they two guys will look like with the cgi?

?

Even in Star wars, the concept was that they were so far ahead, they had returned to many old ways…like how they dressed or the way they rode animals.

On the show, it isn’t so much that is was just forgotten, but it was banned and kept from the royal family…who in turn kept it from the rest of the people in the city.

It was still there though and Lion-o found some of it in the first ep.

In Army of Darkness Ash travelled back in time with the chainsaw and car that were sucked through the portal with him. He arrived in the past and was hailed as the prophesized saviour.

They didn’t forget technology, they never had it; it was an example of Arthur C. Clarke’s third law of sci-fi “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”.
