Score! Batman Arkham City for 28 bucks from amazon, now I really need to get off my ass and beat Arkham Asylum.

Damn just got Assassin’s Creed Revelations for 34 and Assassin’s Creed 2 for 10 bucks, now I just need a used copy of brotherhood and I’ll never see the out side world again.[/quote]

I’m in the same boat. I was all pumped about finding Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed Revelations at Best Buy last weekend for $30 and $35, respectively, so soon after they both came out. I had to buy them both at that price. Now I’m contemplating whether or not to get Brotherhood. I played through both AC1 and AC2, but when I saw ACB was going to have Ezio again I kind of soured on the series; I felt like Ubi was just milking the character. But when Revelations promised to have some “answers” to tie up the whole Desmond-Altair-Ezio saga, I knew I had to get it.

Also, I’ve been absent for a while and came back to catch up on my Geek Shit, and after reading through this thread I feel like I need to pick up Uncharted 3 (I didn’t even play the first two, but this just sounds too amazing to pass up) and Skyrim now. Man, I’m going to have no life besides work, lifting, eating, and video games. Pretty sure my wife is going to leave me.

LOL me too… Just too many good games right now!! Had no time to play this summer, maybe that’s why.

MUST HAVES: Batman 1 and 2, Uncharted 3 and new Zelda. Yea I know not many Wii fans here but Twilight Princess was amazing.

I also saw Punch-Out (Wii) for 19.99$, came so close to buying it.

And i haven’t even touched PS3 free downloads, Infamous and Little Big Planet.

Would love to play Saints Row III also, but don’t think I will have time. And on top of that this new trailer that came out a month ago:

AAAAAHHHHH

Good to hear that you are better X and back at the gym.

I ride motorcycle also and was worried when I heard your story. Yea just focus on getting better stronger would be my advice. Take care.

I bet it’s gonna take a while for GTA 5, besides Saints Row 3 premise is totally different if you like sandbox games you should get it.

Pretty funny spoof for the avengers movie involving the vision

Stop hating on the Stooges. Have faith in Will Sasso and the gay dude from Will and Grace.

I don’t know what to say…

I will watch it regardless

I forgot how bad ass the 80’s cartoon intros were.

lol, i wonder what that JEM was about.

If you mean that cartoon about the girl (“Jem and the Holograms”), she was a pop singer (which is why every episode had short “half songs” written in it almost like Muppet Babies used to do) who solved crimes using her holographic computer which allowed her to make herself and friends look or dress like anything because her earrings were portable full body hologram projectors.

I have a sister. Sue me.

Hmmm, the Farrelly brothers are the writers/directors, so it could be good. But the interview I read with them said it will be a PG movie that is like 3-4 episodes strung together.

Not sure if the smaller name actors will work or not - fat dude from Mad TV, gay dude from the show about gay dudes, and I have never heard of the dude who plays Moe.

IMDB does list Larry David as one of the nuns though.

I repeat DAMN!!!
Dear Hollywood

I understand your need for a built in audience you want to make as much money as possible with as little effort I can relate, however when you take an iconic movie like Evil Dead, and you remove the stuff that made it great, dark humor, over the top fx, BRUCE MOTHERFUCKING CAMPBELL, and replace it with torture porn in the vein of Hostel, and Saw, removing the dark comedy, and having the characters “ground in reality” all you are doing is pissing off the fan base who will burn every theatre that plays that shite you are calling a film down to the ground.
Yours truly
All the Evil Dead Fans

Before everyone jumps on my ass about the first Evil Dead being more of a true horror movie, I get that but the fanatics like myself like the over the top Ash and his awesome boom stick and one liners

Kate Upton at 1:04. I approve.

Tons of that stuff was straight up classic Stooges. My only problem with remakes like these stems from the studios need to out do the original source material. If they try to out Stooge the three stooges then the film will turn to crap. If they stick with classic Stooges shenanigans it will be hilarious.

When I saw snookie at the end I said fuck it, I will say that Larry sounds like Billy West(who was the voice of Stimpy who was a take off of Larry).

It’s not the kind of movie I go to the theaters to see, but I’ll catch it on Neflix.
