Looks like they’ve gone back to the original black & white Eastman/ Laird comic books for that.

If you Google “Lizard Pez dispenser” it will confirm if that’s the look they’re shooting for…

Probably with someone finding the footage of the not “ash” and his party finding the professors translations of the necronomicon exmortum
Yep. Pointless other than lost footage movies are ‘in’ at the moment. Besides, I thought they already remade Evil Dead once - it was called Evil Dead 2.
Yep without the tree rape scene and different relationships between the characters but the same film. The lost footage type movies have been around and done better before Paranormal, The Last Broadcast comes to mind and that came out in the late 80’s early 90’s.

I saw that Sunday I was hoping it was just a prototype

Apparently they are official merch :frowning: but I wouldn’t rule out your “stages of mutation” theory. Especially for the climactic battle…

That’s what I’m hoping, a quick origin of spidey, jumping in to Connors developing something to regrow limbs, he mutates to that and his mind starts to change but he thinks everythings cool, until further mutation and hopefully more of what he looks like in the comics crocodile like and epic fight scene with last minute cure and the end with ? to wrap it all up

I prefer the 2nd than the 3rd medieval one or 1st

I think the internet has ruined me. When I clicked the link and saw the page title “Awesomely Hardcore TMNT Art” I thought it was going to be pics of the turtles running a train on April.

I’m OK with that Lizard. I’d prefer he not look like a humanoid T Rex.

Score! Batman Arkham City for 28 bucks from amazon, now I really need to get off my ass and beat Arkham Asylum.

Damn just got Assassin’s Creed Revelations for 34 and Assassin’s Creed 2 for 10 bucks, now I just need a used copy of brotherhood and I’ll never see the out side world again.
I’m in the same boat. I was all pumped about finding Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed Revelations at Best Buy last weekend for $30 and $35, respectively, so soon after they both came out. I had to buy them both at that price. Now I’m contemplating whether or not to get Brotherhood. I played through both AC1 and AC2, but when I saw ACB was going to have Ezio again I kind of soured on the series; I felt like Ubi was just milking the character. But when Revelations promised to have some “answers” to tie up the whole Desmond-Altair-Ezio saga, I knew I had to get it.

Also, I’ve been absent for a while and came back to catch up on my Geek Shit, and after reading through this thread I feel like I need to pick up Uncharted 3 (I didn’t even play the first two, but this just sounds too amazing to pass up) and Skyrim now. Man, I’m going to have no life besides work, lifting, eating, and video games. Pretty sure my wife is going to leave me.

I advise you to pick the uncharted 1 & 2 package, you won’t regret

Great. Two more games to suck away my time.

Eh, well, I know I’m going to do it. May as well get it over with. At least it’ll be fun having no life for months on end.

Just got Rage for some quick run and gun fun between Skyrim sessions.

My god. Why did I not read the comment threads before getting it?

The whole concept behind the engine is such a catastrophic failure… First time I saw the screenshots I got a little suspicious (even commented on that here)… Well, things are far worse than I thought… The screens showed the game at it’s best.

Still a fun diversion and all, but… Man… And of course it’s a damn console port again… With mouse emulation instead of direct input… And you get to press the start button at the beginning… What’s next, you want me to put in a coin? One Euro for 3 lives?

Do they still make “pure” shooters nowadays that are thoroughly good?
I agree completely. Have you heard anything about Serious Sam 3 BFE? It actually looks like it may not be too bad…
Screens were phantastic and some of the official vids, but watching some let’s plays and so on… I originally really wanted to get it, but now I don’t think so anymore… Would be fun to play co-op I’m sure, but man…

Gun sounds suck, and the effects from the first person suck too… Minigun is way too quiet (hell, the headless bombers will shout louder than any of your guns firing sounds) and it just doesn’t get the amount of shaking/vibration and big muzzle flash + huge fountains of sand/dirt that it should be doing. It looks really boring to use. Same for the assault rifle and shotgun and so on.
Laser gun’s projectiles travel way too slowly. What is this, fucking Star Wars?
The way they kill enemies also doesn’t look too cool…

I guess that’s my main beef. This game is about shooting lots of stuff. But the weapons seem rather dull… With the amount of work they put into the engine overall, you’d think they could have made the sound and the overall “oomph” effect of the guns better.

I mean, it doesn’t make sense to use a minigun against slow land targets usually, but serious sam has so many that you could actually justify it… So why not make it a cool weapon?

Really disappointing… I hope someone fixes that.
Battlefield 3, by comparison, did a much better job overall… Hits on the scenery kick up dust and make nice holes, even the tracers look cool.

Damn shame. Serious Sam 3 is too simplistic in it’s weapon/sound/combat representation.

And that’s why i hate fps, they are all the same.

This might be a valid way to save tons of money on road maintenance.

Only problem is Nick has the rights to TNNT right now so any reality based kick ass turtle sadly won’t happen. Did anyone check out the Turtles Forever movie? It was on CW about 2yrs ago and a quick DVD release, it featured ALL the Turtles, basically the 80’s cartoon teams up witht the 00’s cartoon and at the end they meet the black and white comic Turtles, it was awesome for any Turtle fan sadly like I said the DVD was a quick release so no extras, my hope is Nick isn’t stupid and they put out this and the rest of the Turtle cartoons

That is pretty cool tech sadly it won’t be used in the US, the way the system works here a contractor places the lowest bid to do road work and the like so even though in the long run that would save money the upfront cost would be too much. Similarly a few years ago there was a push for this new type of sidewalk made from recycled tires, the good was it lasted longer, adn was easier on those of us on the larger side, the bad the cost so it was never fully implemented

New Watchmen Prequels coming out being drawn by the Kubert’s, oh boy can’t wait to hear the fanboys whine and cry.

I’ll reserve judgement til its released but I’m not big on the choice of characters. Rorschach and Ozymandias are more interesting imo.
