FUCK! I believe that everyone here is out of it already, wanted to pick it up for the weekend but damn. PGA quit mocking me and tell me what sucks about so I am not as pissed.[/quote]

What sucks is that the Insane setting was not available from the start. Thats really it. Live is FUCKING FLAWLESS with it. No hiccups, no lag, no disconnects. Co/op is a flawless dream. Frinds can jump in and out seamlessly when joining you to co/op the missions.

The “boss” is one bad ass looking mother fucker.

So, nothing bad, huh? Well you didnt help, only made me want it more, I guess that I will just have to hunt for it after work.

Ok something bad, my fried I was playing co/op with last night was sucking and I had to carry his ass. Oh wait, that has nothing to do with the quality of the game.

Did I mention the game is effin’ amazing!!!

BTW: A shipper, dont know who, misplaced 200,000 copies hence the UBERshortage. I’m sure they’re found by now but that was a problem.

Many thanks, hopefully this will translate into me getting a copy.

played thru act 1 with my boy on live co op last night. ridiculous fun, even on the casual setting. although i cant fathom being good enough at this game to compete on the insane level, even tho i have always been a fan of shooters.

no glitches, borderline seamless online play in both co op and multiplayer so far. some sick, “holy shit” moments even in the first level especially playing co op.

the only gripe i have is the cover/movement control isn’t quite perfect. not so much a big deal on the easy setting, but alot less forgiving on hardcore where being out in the open for more than a few seconds literally will get you split in half. also, theres so much going on at once you miss how good looking the game really is. if you have friends on live that you can bug out with this game is a must.

You have to learn how to use the cover well to succeed at the higher levels. COver is an ABSOLUTE must on Insane. You will get tore up if you are out in the open. You have to learn how to control the direction of your speed run/cover. Thats imperative as you have to flank a lot of enemies.

As for the oh shit moments…Beserker!

Thanks a lot guys now im going to have to pick this up after work.

One more hat in the ring saying that it is indeed a wicked game. Playing co-op with my brother and doing the berseker part is possibly my favourite gaming moment ever.

I think this will hold me until Halo 3.

Bad things about it? I wish there was more than one save file per gamertag. I’d like to be able to have a co-op checkpoint save as well as a single-player save.

The other pitfall? I picked up Call of Duty 3 at the same time, as Best Buy in Canada had a deal where both were obtained for $100. GoW is so good that I have no desire to play CoD3. I played CoD3 for about 10 minutes, and couldn’t help but think how many times better it would be if it was more like GoW and some of its mechanics.

Anyone else absolutely love the reload system in GoW?

I dunno how much I’ll be on Live, but I know my brother will be on there plenty.

Gamertag: Rampant Cowboy

Does it autmatically. when you do the campaign again select resume campaign (I cant remember exact words).

The game saves automatically for you at what I believe are scripted checkpoints. Once you get to certain places, the word “Checkpoint” pops up on the screen, and the game saves.

This is another area where it could use a little improvement… The checkpoints seem a little too scripted, and their placement has annoyed me more than once. It’s one area where I think Halo beats it, hands down.

Small nits, though. The game still rocks.

ohh ok, well i dont know if i like that but, this is a sweet ass game.

Alright, I am finally not so busy and I opened the box to this game. I am about to play. Does anybody know why there are two discs? Look for gamertag “beebuddy!” This rules.

I FINALLY beat it on Insane. Its ABSOLUTELY impossible to do it solo. It MUST be done co/op. A friend DID beat it solo though. After 2 hours of going back and forth the computer controlled teammate of his, Dom, died right in front of Raam.

Well the game glitched and…Raam got stuck. So this allowed my friend to peg him off with the sniper rifle in the mug a shit load of times. This sucks because he will talk shit for a while because he did it himself and I needed his help. Fucker!

you do know that if you run past raam there is a machine gun mounted on a small platform?

Its in the dark and the bats hit you.

This game was a serious let down. I beat it(on hardcore), and sold it.

How the fuck is the last boss gunna be just another big ass retard. It’s the same fucking thing all game long. Bout 5 guns, 5 bodybuilding soldiers, with 5 different enamies comming at you.

Roy gives it a 1 out of 5.

Sigh…another sub-100 posts troll.

Roy clearly didn’t play the multiplayer
