Gaining weight

I lost 20 pounds(went from 165 to 145) from an acl surgery and now i started back weight training. I’m having a hard time gaining weight, i eat six meals a day and i find it hard consuming 600 calories each meal, i get about 400-500 calories a meal. Can someone give me some ideas on which foods are calorie dense and possible meal combos. Thanks

Peanuts (any nuts, really). Peanut Butter. But be careful, cause they are high in fat as well (although it’s mostly healthy fat). Pasta is calorically dense as well.

try putting a couple tsp of oil into each shake you make (save for the post workout one of course) that will add a few hundred calories more a day with very little volume. I did that and it was a missing link to me gaining about 20 lbs (about 75% muscle).
