You get quite the view when you're 5 minutes out from Philly international at night... It's beautiful - especially if youve had one of them little shots of bailey on ice with lemon during your flight lol.
Here's a funny story that happened a couple years ago:
A US Airways employee was loading up a B-737 in Orlando for a long flight when it was delayed. He figured once he was done loading he'd take a nice rest in the baggage compartment without being seen. Thing is, the guy fell asleep...
...While he was sleeping, the flight was set to go, and the ramp agents closed all the doors to the baggage compartments, sent the passengers in and took off.
Story was he woke up well in the middle of the flight and started to wonder why it was so cold...he noticed it was a wee to dark lol, and then he finally panicked when he realize he was on his way to some distant place (it was an overseas flight) when he was SUPPOSED to be working. I can imagine his face when they opened the cargo doors...Maybe he yelled 'surprise!' lol.
That was HILARIOUS when it happened. ALl the flight stations are connected through a network, and one of his coworkers thought itd be funny to send a fax out to every US Airways flight station around the world about the incident. Needless to say the guy who fell asleep was fired, but it was HILARIOUS...
