I’m guessing that as your American, the sizings as different, d’oh.
I nhave about a 36" waist but always buy baggy jeans. Adn a large t-shirt feels fairly tight on me. I have an XL Jumper, which makes me look bigger than I am as its slightly baggy on me. But its all good.
Tonight, I laughed because I saw a bouncer who was really skinny but had about 3 or 4 layers of clothes on and imaginary washboards under his arms. Too off topic so I shall shut up. I want to become a bouncer when I reach at least 230lb.
just under 5’7 205, Most large T’s are way to tight in the shoulders, (some fit decent while not making you look like “that guy”) XLs kind of drape down but don’t look to bad. I have found one kind of jeans that actually fit around my thighs while not being to baggy around the waist but even this is getting tight (28" thighs with a 30" length lol).
I was 155lbs two years ago and a medium was kind of baggy… I imagine things would be even worse if I was leaner. I’ve had to buy new jeans and shirts a good 2-3 times already.
I’d say it depends on where you shop. Now if you’re shopping at AE for example then I can believe he needs L or XL, cause their shit is pretty small - I’d say a xxl shirt there is same as L at wally mart.
