What about socializing with other kids? School and activities also teach kids how to behave in the real world, how to make friends. The adult world is filled with rules, these kids are not going to be prepared for that. I completely disagree with this thinking.
School has nothing to do with socializing, it’s an environment that helps with socializing, but nothing more. How many loners were there at your school. There were quiet a few of them, however not many loners I have met around here that are home schooled. Which there are a lot of kids that are home schooled because of the ranching situations for these families.
However, I think the confidence that the kids have leads to socializing.
Interesting and valid take, BC.

Those kids don’t even seem to have harnessed a fundamental ability to learn. They draw conclusions that are faulty, and dismiss actual information as if it is simply of no use.
They aren’t free, they are fucked.

stupid shit like this makes me lose faith in humanity.
Sorry, man. I know that my posts are bad sometimes, but I didn’t mean to break your faith in humanity.

haha nahh man I was agreeing with you.
I know a woman who has this same mentality. Her oldest is 10. HE CAN’T FUCKING READ.
The youngest is 5 or 6. He doesn’t talk.

It’s not just socializing though, I think a bigger issue is probably the fact that the kids will grow up doing whatever they want, and then find out that not everyone will coddle them the way their mother does. I was really cringing watching that mother from MA listening to that woman’s crap. I really just don’t understand how they don’t all go nuts living together in that house.

And public schools do not coddle kids now? Actually they do, just usually the dumb ones. Some people like being around their kids.
WTF, Since when did kids know what’s best for themselves?
Deadsion they may not be taking your job, but they’ll take your money when they’re on welfare.

Well, I’d just make the kids go to work, either go to work or go to school some of the time and go to work. I’m sure they’d pick the latter.
As long as they can support themselves later on it doesn’t matter what they do
Deadsion…I don’t like you
if building wooden toy sets is all that’s needed to get that house, those belongings, the car and pay all the bills then i must be doing smething wrong!

Custom (Wood) Toy Sets = A lot of money. Plus they live on the side of a road, they probably live in the sticks, plus she “teaches how to not teach kids.”
I’ve seen some of those toy sets go for 500-600 a set or 50 bucks a piece.

I hope all of these ignorant children fail horribly in life.
I honestly thought that “Free Range Children” would mean we have resorted to eatting kids. But then again, these lil bastards are going to be only useful for just that;meat.

No, seriously: Can you eat them?
I think its a modest proposal.
Nyuck, Nyuck. Modest Proposal. Hee hee!
