So… I’ve read two or three times this may very well prompt a nuclear arms race…

Any truth to that?
So… Yea or Nay?
If Iran tests a nuclear weapon, horizontal nuclear proliferation in Southwest Asia is very possible. Saudi Arabia would likely be the first state to follow suit. This could be ameliorated if the US forward deploys nuclear forces in the region, thus extending its nuclear umbrella. A successful final agreement would do much to allay the security dilemma dynamics experienced by Iran’s peers in the region.
So that is a yes then?
Well it depends on what you meant by “this”. Iran becoming a nuclear weapons state, yes. A final agreement, not so much.

Lol… PWI in a nut shell.

Sorry, carry on Bill.

I’m saying a final agreement that is opened ended, assuming the fox report is accurate and even Obama himself admits that it is only a finger in the dyke, with Iran not that far away.

If I was near to Iran, and they hated me, I’d be damn sure to have more fire power and be closer than they are.

If you really want to bomb Iran, take the deal

Are you being funny or do you finally admit this?

Read your second post…should have figured…

US Aerospace Command moving it’s command and control back to the bunker… At the same time Iran get’s permission to develop nukes… Coincidence?

Which article of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons confers upon Iran the right to manufacture nuclear weapons? Have you actually bothered to read those documents?

If the bet is still that Iran significantly violates a final agreement within 72 months of its entry into force, I’ll bet that it doesn’t.

It would be funny to laugh at people like biz and obama for thinking Iran does not want a nuclear weapon to “wipe Israel off the map”

except in 10 years or AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, there is going to be some serious shit going down, but hey, let’s keep our heads in the sand about it.

Not a minute too soon in my estimation. That funny shit that went up was making a hell of a mess.

Do you think Iran gives a flying fuck what’s written in that treaty? No, not at all. All they care about is getting sanctions lifted. When Obama caves on that, they will continue to do whatever the fuck they want to do. They will continue to make progress toward a nuclear weapon.

“but the inspections… Blah Blah Blah”. Inspections won’t do shit. They will find a way to mislead, avoid, confuse and fabricate whatever they need to foil the inspectors. And if they get “busted”, so what? Will the UN write them a strongly worded letter? Will ANYONE have the WILL to actually STOP them? Look at recent history and the answer is a resounding NO…

This is just a ploy to buy them time. At this point, it’s not a matter of IF Iran will develop a nuclear weapon, it’s WHEN.

THANKS OBAMA!

Dumbfounded and scared that this is not blatantly obvious to people.

What do you think about this? They want All sanctions lifted. Great. Obama’d be just dumb enough to give it to them. They’ll have that, and the bomb.

It means Iran is saying “we’re fucking desperate”. Tough stance is most likely a ploy to ward of nationalist/hardline criticism of the deal framework.

As the deadline approaches, expect increased anti-American rhetoric, aka “we haven’t backed down” posturing to camouflage their defeat.

No one mentioned this here, but Iran received Turkey’s Tayyip Erdogan with red carpet treatment a couple of days ago.

All this for a guy with whose increasingly sunni islamic government they’re engaged in a proxy war. This is seen internally as a massive humiliation for the Iranian regime, especially as Erdogan was admonishing them during the visit Putin-style for “too high” gas prices and attempt at “regional domination”. Just shows that the regime is scared.

Have you read the framework agreement or not? Which article gives Iran “permission” to develop nuclear weapons? You made the assertion, tying it to a change in duty station.

I think, it’s more the issue of what part of the treaty would Iran actually honor.

That framework is just this generation’s version of the 1938 Munich Agreement.

I don’t need to read it to know that it’s a bunch of lies and conditions that will NEVER be met by Iran. Obama and Kerry are living in a liberal fantasy land (or they are blatantly plotting against America and all that it stands for - take your pick). All this is going to accomplish is to give Iran a “free pass” to re-join the world after DECADES of terrorism and antisemitism. Which it will now never be held accountable for.

It’s a pretext. Nothing more. The “inspections” will not find anything until it is too late to do anything about it. And once their treachery is exposed, the “world community” led by the nutless United Nations will send Iran a strongly worded letter telling them how angry they are. Iran knows this, why do you think they are agreeing with the great satan about anything at all? They are just “punking” Obama - just like Syria did, just like Russia did and just like just about every other country in the world did while Barry was on his “apology tour”.

They are gaining “status” by showing the world that the United States takes them seriously. That’s IT. Obama inadvertently empowers these camel fucking muslim child molesters every time he sits down with them. We are quickly becoming the laughing stock of the world. Seriously, watching Obama muddle through foreign policy is like watching a monkey try to fuck a football.
