Fair question. I was widowed due to violence in my country. Four daughters from first marriage (all basically adults) and four from the second, all under the age of 6. Her womb is closed for business.

That said, we are already playing zone defense so what is one more? I checked with Mrs J. We’re 100% serious about this. Not eager, but serious. Saving lives is pretty much our highest mitzvah. I would be honored to raise this child as mine.

I’m not one bit religious. I just know we all get one shot at life and I believe a human life shouldn’t be denied because it was inconvenient to someone.
