IIFYM, brah.
@robstein does it FMM (fit my macros, not the kinky alternative).
LOL you know it!
That looks delicious and very tasty! One question regarding fat intake. Do you add the olive oil after cooking? How much on average? I always struggle on fat intake and I´m not sure how to add them to my diet. I eat very “bro”, not because its better but its a lot easier for me… thank you very much for your help
Tried my hand at spatchcock chicken for the first time yesterday after seeing it talked about a few times. Roasted it out on the grill because it was over-80 here yesterday and I didn’t want to put the oven on and heat the house more. Came out pretty good. I liked the crunch that some of the under-side gets.
Not sure it’s a clear winner over whole roast chicken, but definitely found a place in regular rotation. It does cook a bit quicker, so that’s a nice benefit.
I had tucked the wings down when I put the bird in, but when I opened the grill for a Before pic, he was saying hello.
After.
Ohhhh. That is pretty.
Yep. Opening the lid and seeing those browns, tans, and bits of black on the skin is always pretty satisfying.
Side note: If I could drink roasted lemon juice, I probably would.
pan sauce?
Got to do lunch out with the wife and kids at De Luca’s. They had a “bodybuilder omelette” with egg whites and chicken breast with veggies and cheese. So I figure “why not?”
Then this happened. It came with home fries, toast, fruit and oatmeal (replete with milk and brown sugar to add should you wish).
I didn’t eat the sugar at least…

Robinson. Across from ikea.
Haha! Love the menu. “Fancy pancakes and such”.
I’ll have to remember this. I need some fancy pancakes.
A bunch of boring food I eat pretty much all the time. The tiny dark blue cup serves me no justice since I tend to drink the entire carton of milk anyways.
Was just out in Hopewell doing some tree stuff for a buddy. He took me to a place called Two Guys Catering and Coffee.
It is awesome. Mouth starts watering as soon as you enter. Great little selection at a hot deli bar, and an extensive menu. Got the beef brisket with BBQ sauce and cornbread. It was perfect.
If you’re ever over that way I’d definitely give them some consideration.
Sorry no pics. Was too hungry.
Happy Father’s Day to me!
It took a few hours but it was worth it.
Ribs, chicken, coleslaw, beans, freah onions and tomatoes. The brownies with cream cheese icing for dessert.
“Pizza” - using the " " liberally here as my Connecticut roots won’t let me not use them (land of pizza)
Grass fed bison, mushrooms, garlic cloves, hot sauce, oil-free pizza sauce, broccoli, sweet corn, dairy free cheese. Quinoa wrap for the shell
Zero oil used for all. Pan courtesy of Made In Cookware. The best.
Lean season in Miami right now
