I am assuming 1/4 c chopped? Or I could grind them in my molcajete.

I got everything but the ginger
Surely I can find that locally… maybe.
Or I may have to wait until I go back,

I guessing one of these should be onion? Not two garlics.

Had no idea what kind of coconut sugar to buy. There were several. So I got this one. No idea what I will do with the rest of the bag

Any powdered ginger from a jar would work.

Yup. My bad. Take your pick.

Just use it like you would brown sugar.

Thats a kaiser roll from the local supermarket. Their bakery is really good.

I’m just happy to find a bacon I can have a couple pieces of! Its like 270 mg. per 2 pieces.

If you have a Costco, they do a great “reduced sodium bacon” which is also cured without sugar

As far as pork bacon goes, it’s my go to.

My first ever crawfish boil. The 2 who boiled them previously died but never passed on the tradition so i had to do a lot of research!

@Brant_Drake I figure you might appreciate what I spent way too much on

And it found a home on sourdough pizzas, to REALLY upset the Italians

Suffice it to say, Valkyrie was busy this Sunday

I don’t think there could possibly be anything more italian than that.

My dad used the cure pork jowls. My favorite part of the pig. So good. I have never had any fancy Italian kind, but it has to be good!

I am jealous of the Valkyrie’s sourdough bread, Mine was a total flop this weekend :sob:

Oh that’s a fantastic point. I may have gone about this the hard way. I live in pork country: I’m sure I could find me some pork jowls at a far more reasonable price point.

The Italians are great with the cured meats though. I’m sure those pizza were awesome!
