just looked this up.

there’s a “ask the chef” service which seems perfect. Also has knife sharpening.

The closest one is still a bit far, but I’ll find some time. Thanks!

I don’t know what I did to manage this

Obviously not perfectly smooth and the top end isn’t sealed properly, but I actually got a seam

this was the 6th try

Have you ever tried grilled romaine hearts? I had them In Indianapolis a couple years back a t a restaurant called The Library. Loved them. Olive oil and lemon basted on the grill and finished with bacon/blue cheese on top.

I worked for this chef for two years and he was all about that. He was an awesome guy.

Your persistance paid off!

And you’re utilizing a great protein source. There’s all kinds of win in this.

well I sometimes go over calories because I get frustrated and redo a lot. I feel too bad if I waste eggs.

Thats the beauty of it. You can eat the mistakes!

Sooo glad we didn’t have to do that in weld cert. school..

Not good if you are a small female without many calories to play around with!

Well I’m still happy for you. :hugs:

I think batch practice is good for technique like this.

Spicy burger!

& cheese!

Mozzarella & chunks of smoked gouda, brown mustard, black pepper & chili powder.

All kinds of flavor there. I like my spicy mustard spicy though, hence the additional pepper.

I have to make a pasta dinner for 24 teenagers. Will the pasta still be good if I cook it the night before?

Yeah. Cook it to just a bit before al dente (like 80% of the normal cooking time), and toss it with some oil so it dosen’t stick together. Let it cool, then stick it in an air-tight container or ziplock bag and it’ll be fine for a couple days.

To reheat, drop it in boiling water for a minute then do whatever you planned like normal.

I’m hoping making the pasta the night before will make it easier to judge volume. I have no idea how much that many teenagers will eat. :grimacing::grimacing:

Ages and boy/girl ratio?
