Not sure of all of the single-payer coverage laws in other countries. But they could be here. Saving this country a lot of money. So not only would we save by going with a single-payer we could save by liberating the treatments offered. Medical cannabis, anyone.
Youâre the one who claimed tax dollars as a main reason for itâs legalization, not mercy because it is the right thing to do.
I never said electives wouldnât be covered but that they will take a backseat to more serious problems. If T.J. could afford it then why couldnât he get it done in the U.S.? Oh thatâs right, Big Pharma would lose money.
that it works in every other country. That bullshit reason?
He doesnât understand these words. Itâs less expensive is the talking point he was taught. Youâre asking him to understand concepts beyond a 2nd grade level.
No way man. Fuck that noise. I spent like an hour doing the math with him one day. I even got him to agree with what I was saying. Iâll dig the bitch up if I have to
âCapita? That sounds like capitalism. Itâs bad! Per Capita? That sounds like a fucking Beethoven song. Another puppet of the bourgeoisie! Bad! BAD! EVIL!!!â
It is not only cheaper per capita it is less of an expense of overall GDP. It works in just about every other country that has tried it-if not all of them. However, you believe the side that will lose money when this comes to fruition but will save money for the public.
Which is also not cheaper in an absolute sense. Every. Single. Payer. Option. Being. Discussed. Is. More. Expensive. Overall.
The side that loses money is the American taxpayer. Thatâs me. So of course itâs a concern. But guess what? Iâm in favor of single payer anyway. But I still understand with absolute certainty, that I will not directly financially benefit from this. America is full of fat lazy idiots who donât take care of themselves. Itâs going to be expensive.
And your heroes in big business have lobbied and bribed politicians to protect their profits. The end result is that the public suffers needlessly. A system that you champion.
A government run by and for the people is far different then what weâve had in the last few decades. Something you can not admit or donât believe it could happen as youâre too busy championing a system that destroys lives.
Yes, I donât understand. While every other modern country in the world pays far less than we do. I am to believe that they are doing it wrong and we are doing it right. How many other countries who have some form of single-payer drive their population into bankruptcy? Even people in this country who have health insurance go into BK. But I donât understand.
