Following Politics, Following the Money

As if voting rights discrimination only happens in other countries and not in the U.S.

And what is capitalism currently doing for the U.S. since it is such a success? A disappearing middle class? Capitalism in this country is currently eating itself. This will eventually happen in other countries as well.

Publically funded elections would be a good start.

So prove it. Oh wait, you can’t.

Do you ever answer anything or just make accusations?

You know damn well what I mean but have to hide behind a perfect definition because you are too much of a coward to admit the truth. The public is suffering as Big Pharma tries to limit choice. So the pharma industry making money is more important than the public being helped? You think you have scored a point by trying to adhere to a perfect word to describe a situation that the public is facing. You are a very small person.

Not as small as you are kid.

An industry cannot be a “monopoly” unless said industry consists of 1 company, or 1 gigantic company with a few very tiny, outclassed competitors (like Google for search).

The pharmaceutical industry has thousands of companies. Thousands. In the US alone there are over 500 publicly traded companies, not counting privately held ones. It can’t be a monopoly by definition.

Of course, I could. I’ve done so 500x at this point. You think an industry holds a monopoly over an industry. That’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read in my life.

Dude, I’ve made you a fucking spreadsheet in the past as a high level comparison of healthcare premiums. I’ve broken down medicare costs and how that would loosely translate to the total population. I have probably written 20,000 words answering your idiotic question/comments.

You’re fucking dumb, period. Fuck off.

Wait. Japanese surrendered in 1945. Communist revolution happens 1946. How does that work?

Ask Mao’s first wife. She was the drama school grad.

Nah they were around since the 1920s.

That’s true. (Pretty pure)Capitalism brought this country to the top of the heap and allowed people enough luxury and free-time to demand it be replaced with regulation/socialism/whatever-you-want-to-call-it.

As a matter of fact, my oldest brother has as severed spine from a broken neck.

My feelings on stem cells is to have it in the hands of doctors. You haven’t seen sadness until you’ve looked down into your brothers eyes as he loses hope once again at the hands of scheisters.

You can save your usual remarks. That situation isn’t meant to be fodder for your bullshit cannon. Its to let you know that I have more than just a passing fancy or titillation about the subject.

How would I know I’m not sure about that if I’m a blinded-by-my-ideology brainwashed derelict?

Jesus H, I obviously need to pull the crayons out

Single-payer systems limit choice, period. Full stop. If it isn’t an approved treatment it isn’t covered. Period, full stop. That is limited choice.

The very premise of SINGLE-payer or UHC is to limit the consumer’s choice over providers. Limiting choice is literally the point and it’s the only possible way a UHC could save money.

Uhuh, heard that before.

Do you ever get tired of being the least self-aware poster on this site?

Spoken like a true assclown of a zealot.

Lolz. You, the guy that wants to throw people in jail because of your feelz thinks he knows what freedom truly is. Fucking hilarious.

Wrong. People have demanded it because they like it, period. You have no evidence that it works better than “garbage drugs from pharma”.

Still funny a day later. I don’t even know what to say about this other than fucking wow.

Name a more successful economic model?
Name a better economic model?
Name another economic model, fucking anything?

Cool, brah. That’s like totally true cause like you say so, brah.

Wrong. People are the catalyst of corruption. If you weren’t a 5-year-old stuck in a 50-year-olds body you’d get that.

Never once have I give The Corporations a free pass. I just understand that a corporation is the culmination of it’s management and that if there’s corruption it’s the people running it and not some evil unnammed faceless business.

Lolz, again. Of the two of us, one has actually been outside the house he owns and the other has never left his mom’s basement.

Wrong. Wrong as usual.

Slight correction: Scarcity of resources limits everyone.

@Zeppelin795(and plenty of others) has no understanding of the function of money.

Doesn’t negate the overall point. The U.S. healthcare system is primarily designed for profits above all else. If something better comes along in which the public can benefit but the “healthcare” can’t make as much money from it, it will be resisted and the consequence is that the public’s suffering is prolonged. The worst healthcare system ever in the modern world.

And allowed it to ship thousands of jobs overseas in search of cheaper labor so those at the top can make even more money. Wealth inequality continues to grow. Capitalism has too many internal contradictions.
