Following Politics, Following the Money

Mt. St. Helens is a volcano. I wouldn’t expect a brainwashed simpleton like you to understand the difference between a bomb and volcano

This coming from the guy that wants more healthcare treatment choices while championing single-payer systems which limit treatment option.

No, no. I’ll be here rejecting your stupidity with factual statements for many many years to come. I don’t care if it hurts your feeling. Your ideology is a cancer.

Which is convenient because we can treat that with cannabis oil and stem cells.

Btw the evil pharma bros are doing some really cool things with gene therapies. After FDA approvals and research of course. It costs, allot. What are the chances the NHS spends billions of pounds on a treatment for 3,000 blind kids or 7,500 cancer patients with no hope?

They’ll just post-birth abort those kids…

Ah pardon me. I could call it the Tsar Bomba of irony (largest bomb ever tested). But that was only 50MT worth of TNT. It had the capability of 100MT with a u238 tamper, but they couldn’t figure out how to drop it and not kill the pilot.

The Mt. St. Helens eruption is estimated to have released 350MT worth of TNT.

So, you see I was trying to convey the unimaginable force of the irony in that statement. But I wouldn’t expect you to understand. Since you’re brainwashed and all. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, he essentially posts beliefs, along with industry-funded studies which go against the majority of the evidence but I’m the one who is ironic. Another brainwashed fool who does not realize he is just another useful idiot.

Well stated.

This is you, idiot. You just post alt-funded “studies” and by “studies” I mean the farthest thing from an actual study.

Holy shit, dude.

And this is coming from the guy whose statement on why the pharma industry lobbied against medicinal cannabis was who cares it is just yesterday’s spilled milk. Wow he is all heart! Meanwhile millions are being helped by medicinal cannabis. He has to answer this way as the real answer undercuts his free market fantasy. The Pharma industry lobbied against the passage of medicinal cannabis so they could limit the public’s option and hopefully funnel more money to their garbage synthetic drugs. But he wants to give off the impression that he is for choice. Instead of monopoly power which seeks to limit choice so they can make more money. Their primary design. Not to mention he acts like this is just yesterdays spilled milk implying that this practice magically just disappeared and is not effecting any other treatments. But he claims to want choice. What a derelict!

This is the beauty of single-payer and greatly diminishing the power of Big Pharma. Money isn’t the primary concern.

What were the chances of investors funding the internet studies while they waited decades for their return?

I don’t give a fuck why Big Pharm lobbied against cannabis. Sorry not sorry I don’t spend energy crying about shit I had no control over that happened in the past.

Crying about the past is like rocking a rocking chair. I don’t give a fuck how hard you rock you’re still going no where.

You keep saying this like it means something.

Their health condition isn’t being treated by cannabis, generally. It might help with the symptoms. It might help with quality of life. Great! That doesn’t make it a treatment for x, y, or z. Why you can’t grasp such as simple concept is baffling.

Derpy McDerperson, if my “free market fantasy” had its way marijuana would be free to buy and sell. Fuck, you’re dumb.

And the politicians that would run single-payer healthcare passed the laws to make that possible.

You want to limit the number of insurance providers to 1. I want to increase the number of insurance providers and allow for competition across state and even national line. You want single-payer, which limits treatment options. I want more plan options and as many treatment options humanly possible, I just want the FDA or some entity to test the efficacy of the treatment first. Ya know, so we don’t end up back at snake-oil treatment.

The federal government controlling healthcare via universal care is a MONOPOLY of power. Good grief.

I’d rather be a derelict than brain dead.

Every single-payer system has a government body that approves treatment. I don’t understand how someone that claims to research this particular topic can be so ignorant.

Cancer cells can’t survive inside a volcano, but Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know about it.

It takes, on average, a decade+ for a drug to go from development to use in the US and the vast majority of approved drugs end up operating at a loss. The Pharm industry also spend more on R&D than pretty much every single other industry on the planet.

So, ya, I think it’s a safe bet to say they investor for the medium to long-term.

I feel so #WOKE

Big Pharma’s priority is profits, not efficacy.

Well with any luck crusaders like you will blow the lid off of Big Pharmas suppression of volcano therapy.

Soooo roughly it took about 30 years. It took far longer to develop the internet. Who developed it? The public sector.

Phew, I was getting worried. You’re posting later in the day than usual. I feared the senior center had revoked your internet privileges.

The public sector initially developed “the internet”, but the PRIVATE sector turned it into the economic powerhouse that it has become.

Whatever point you’re trying to make, poorly, is irrelevant.

I think that what he’s trying to say is that if you remove money from the equation, then magic happens
