I concur. It’s been a creeping thought in the back of my mind, but it’s certainly lingering.
Jeez, I was thinking it too but didn’t want to put it out there. But, something is odd. Especially when it always seems like there are quite a few very loyal customers, who themselves purchase quite a bit of volume. For instance, the nutrition store by my house has been OUT of all Spike drinks since last summer! Yet, almost every time I went in there, I was lucky to be able to cobble together 1 or 2 cases from the remaining flavors. But more times than I can count, I’d arrive to find ALL the spike energy drinks sold out. Yet there would still be plenty of Bucked up, C4, and all the others. SO, I know it’s NOT my imagination, or exxageration, that Biotest products SELL WELL.
I’d imagine many have done what I’ve done and told everyone they know, and so then THOSE friends/family/etc. are Biotest customers.
What I don’t quite understand is why is there such a lack of advertising for their excellent products? I know, I understand business principles and know that advertising costs can be a huge chunk of a company’s profits, but often times that huge cost is mitigated/lessened by increased sales, either by sheer volume or having a slightly higher price per unit. Again, most of us Biotest customers are quite loyal customers, and understand the need to perhaps charge a bit more but we are willing to pay for it understanding that: higher quality raw materials, costlier production methods, etc. are extremely important to produce superior supplements.
What am I missing?? Why won’t Biotest invest in more advertising? Please don’t say the always used “not advertising keeps our costs down”. While I understand that, as I stated above, advertising a truly superior product line almost always results in reaching MORE customers, driving revenues/profits. Not to mention, with as health conscious as Gen Z has turned out to be, it seems like a no brainer to advertise. Especially when advertising on social media like instagram, tik tok, or whatever the hell kids look at costs substantially less than traditional media like TV, magazines/print media, etc.
Again, what am I missing? Why the continual shortage of various Biotest products, and the increasing occurrance of these outages?
