Have distant relatives in a small town outside Oviedo. Up in the mountains so nice, mild climate.
Barcelona was a bit loud for my tastes but probably would have had fun there if I went when i was younger
Favorite spot other than Oviedo was probably Seville

Took it easy first day back
Thinking of a minimalist approach the next few weeks as there is a work deadline. Tried once a week earlier in the year but ended up just having 1 crappy workout a week lol.
Tuesday- light squats, Trap bar dead 5s Pro, overhead press 5/3/1
Saturday- Squat 5s pro, Bench press 5/3/1, upper back, grip
Will try to do orangetheory twice a week. Usually aim for 6am class

Basically did the first 2 sets of 5’s week this week
liked this approach better than the standard deload which feels a little too light
Will go back to 5/3/1 next week

Been buried in work and dealing with some personal stuff I’d rather not really get into here. I’m confident I will sort everything out but just haven’t been focused on lifting for the past few weeks
Decided to do a minimalist variation Jim Wendler recommends just for the next month or so to keep things moving
