Went out the yesterday for some Steelies, had a good day landed 4 nice one’s.

Yeah, I heard they got some killer bass in places like Florida and California.
Went out for a fish this morning. Got to the location at 7am, a small river flowing on the outskirts of a neighbouring town. Seen something jumping a few times. Think I hooked it but it dived into a snag and broke off the line. 
Followed up with a small red fin perch followed by my first black fish.
Alright way to spend 2 hours. Think the first one was a trout. Don’t recall carp jumping like that and we definitely don’t have yellowbelly perch down this way.

Don’t leave out TX! Caught a 5# last Saturday in a city pond 200 yards from the house.
Which reminds me, this Saturday I should be heading to Tempe Towne Lake to check out the fishing in the man made canal.
