First Generation to Have....

Apparently we are at #2 now, but we will surpass the US in the next few years. Not sure of the exact figures, but it seems to be coming true for now.

Well I guess with all this military technology, someday someones gonna push the wrong button and we’re all gonna die. My guess is that humans will have to start over and start killing their own food again.

That, and walk to the Biotest factory and raid their Metabolic Drive warehouse.

Outsourcing. We’re even too lazy to be the fattest anymore.

I’ll take the Classic Grow! in a post-apocolyptic world. We’ll need the extra carbs to fuel the constant motion necessary to outrun the giant cockroaches.

Your gun related murders are still miles ahead of ours, if that makes you feel better.

per capita?

Fat is back, Just the other day I was asking a friend ;“At what point do they look in the mirror and say fuck I’m FAT?” We came to the conclusion that they don’t , because they are happy and LOVEto EAT.

It makes me sick because MY two kids , wife , and I are all active and try to eat right.I guess all we can do is LEAD BY EXAMPLE . So don’t let political world issues get you all down because this to will come to pass. And if not I won’t have to wait in line at a buffet anymore.

I think Pareto’s principle applies here too. It only takes that 20% of effort to get the 80% in terms of health and looks. Most people on this website are the types putting in the extra 80 to get most of that last 20.

Unfortunately, most of America isn’t willing to put in the initial 20 in the first place by living a passably healthy lifestyle.

Funny that you say that. I was sitting at Burger King the other day on my lunch break, and I noticed the same thing.

I told my girlfriend, “If you want to see what the downfall of the western world will be, here it is”. Lazy fat people eating more, getting fatter, and raising their kids on the shit.

I say fuck’em. Let’em die at 40. Won’t be me.
just sitting, or eating? If it’s the latter, the rest of your comment is a bit ironic if you ask me.

Tell me about it.Half of America (maybe more) is obese, but they don’t care.Fast food and processed food companies can be the ones to blame people say,but if you think about it,they themselves are the ones to blame because if they wanted to eat healthy they’d not eat that crap. However,it doesn’t seem right when subway commercials have some athletic guy eating the crap saying they’ve lost 50 pounds by making it a part of their “well balanced healthy diet.”

It’s sad because now when people see someone eat fruit or chicken,or vegetables, they label them as a health freak…like thats a bad thing. It’s sad how people these days look at you in a weird way because you eat healthy, but no one looks at them anymore when they pig out on cake because it’s become “normal.”

Nah I was eating. Unfortunately its an easy way to get alot of calories. Of course, I don’t know that too many people eating at Burger King are bulking (on purpose, I mean).

Although I have restricted any and all fast food to the weekends for the simple fact that I always felt like shit after eating it.

Sorry to break it to you, but you seem to have “outsourced” that to us.

If you want to feel really bad here in Japan is the complete opposite. Families encourage their kids to stay some time at home and even they have to come home if the kids stay alone.

99% of the population is thin with the remaining 1% being ripped. . .it is amazing to see 90year olds waking and shopping like regular people, no cains or walkers!

So by 2020 the world will be oned by healthy asians?

On a similar note. Australia has just changed the laws on cigarette packages so they have to display prescribed graffic images of the extreme conciquences of smoking.

I don’t think it will make much difference. People are still buying a product that advertises that it will kill you.

I wonder if they added some kind of a poison that builds up in your body to each Cigarette and started advertising “cigarettes: now more efficient… smoke 20 and you’ll die or your money back”

would the same people smoke.

Australia is closing in on #1 status for obesity in children, by 2010 we will have the fattest children in the world.
That is an awesome stat don’t ya think!

I live in a small town in rural NSW and the amount of overweight people here is amazing, not just a few kilo’s over, but 20-30kgs at least. I can’t see it changing all that soon though, it is going to get alot worse before it gets better I think.
dude … we ALREADY have the fattest kids in the world. We are number 2 for adults, I believe.

It is terrible.

They eat too much junk and spend too much time on the computer.

Physical exercise at school, once compulsory, is now optional or non-existant.

arrrrrrghhhh what can we do

 • make phsy ed compulsory at schools
 • ban junk food at schools
 • make kids attend 2 weeks a year a kind of military camp that whips them into shape
 • lock them all in a cargo ship for 4 weeks with nothing but water and salt

argh I meant to mention, cigarette companies were telling eastern european countries NOT to ban smoking BECAUSE it would save them money on old age pensions / healthcare, by killing people off. I kid you not!

I don’t know how many of you have seen the commercial, but I completely flipped my shit when I heard the new Milky Way candy bar slogan:

“Chocolate, caramel, nougat, and comfort in every bite!”

COMFORT IN EVERY BITE?!?! HOLY SHIT!!!

When are we gonna stop coddling fat people? You are not a “voluptuous goddess,” you are a smelly fat bitch! You are not disabled, you are fucking lazy! And I swear to any god you believe in that if I see ONE more fat chick in a little bikini I am going to go crazy! [/rant]

Here in Canada all the cigarette packages, already have to those images of the blackened lung and the heart. Not to mention them being taxed to the point where it almost costs the same to go buy a 12 pack of beer as a pack of cigarettes. And really the taxes and the pictures only help those that are trying to stop stop.
