No harshness or dickiness taken… I am a big boy I can take criticism. But me weighing 270 and havinig 30 lbs to cut would make me a pretty fat guy at 270.
That would be just bigger than I want to be.
I am in no way trying to compete or anything beyond just being healthy and looking good as a positive side effect.
Plus, a 6’4" guy at 270lbs is pretty scary size IMO.
I do not desire that in any way shape or form.
That’s a long term goal to be a lean 240. And by lean I mean 10%-12% not single digits… Not ripped or shredded, that’s just not something I want.
I am a smooth bellied 236 right now, and actually pretty happy with my results thus far. I will probably use calorie deficits to cut down to around 220-225, and I think I’ll be lean enough for my goals for this cycle.
And judging by me getting a yes today from a girl that I have been drooling over for nearly a year at the gym. I am a stoked bloke.
So bro… thanks for the input, but I am not going to ever weigh 270. Not in my cards. But I can gurantee you that using 5X5’s alone I can get to a solid 245+ and be lean enough for my non-competing taste.
Eat like you mean it obviously, but just clean it up. That’s what I’ve always done anyway and it works marvelously for me. Generally I keep my protein intake at 1.5-2 grams/lb. of body weight, but drastically reduce carbs…
Fair enough. I hope you do reach your goals without having to get to 270. I honestly think it’ll be hard to get to a 10-12% 240 without getting to 265-ish at your current levels, but I hope you prove me wrong.

I am stoked with my cycle, the attention from the ladies has been more than I thought possible. But then again I am single now too, so my radar is a little more receptive to flirting.
I feel great and was happy to see myself leaning up even more today. I saw 4 abs, my abs are huge btw. Not in a way that would be good as in big muscle but the top two are like 4"X4" Maybe if I cut enough I can show them on here.
Weight is holdiong fast at 235-236 so I think I may be starting to slow the gains a bit. I still have alot of time left, my cycle ends May9th.
