First Blast on TRT - Test Cyp + Anavar?

I hit my goal today for overhead press with 3 sets of 3 reps with 80kg (1.5 plates on either side) which is awesome! Then did a 4th set where I only got a single at the same weight but immediately dropped down for another 6 reps with 1 plate. Good result!

It is hard to force myself to take a deload when my Overhead was good today and even my triceps and bicep work were PRs today. That being said my shoulder is aching, my lower back is tight and my left elbow now has tiny little niggle.

I tend to not do so well going very heavy after a light week, but I never tried that on a blast so maybe it’s different.

In the name of safety and not being greedy a partial or full deload is needed I think. CNS and joint recovery is a good idea.

Will be updating my measurements tomorrow.

Nice! Good to hear you’re succeeding. 80 for 3x3 is strong! Especially the overhead can be a pain in the ass.
There’s a guy in my gym, 6 foot tall, 96 kg heavy, pressing 105 kg for a single clean af. He’s natural too. I’m always in awe seeing this kind of weight being pressed over someone’s head.

Glad to hear it. I ego lifted (and had no coach) for 15 years and I got fairly strong, but I was often mildly injured and if I had lifted with a plan of action, and periodic deloads, I think I could be far stronger than I am now.

I think a deload is greatly warranted, ESPECIALLY strength training 2-a-days.

BTW Test C (or E) and anavar is going to be my next blast so I’m glad to see it worked so well for you and I hope to get similar results.
