feeding schedule

I might be wrong, but I have a feeling that Dr. Lowery’s article on glucose intolerance will change some things like massive eating did some time ago…
Just a few questions:

  1. What’s the reason behind spliting a meal and eating half after 60 minutes?
  2. Does the 6+ a day feeding schedule is not the best way anymore and we come back to a clasic 3/day?
  3. How can we adapt the proposed feeding schedule to a training day if training in the evening?

Looking forward to some smart answers

  1. I don’t think that is what he is emphasizing to do but that is what he likes to do. Maybe I could be wrong on this.

  2. I think the 3 meals is just 3 examples of meals and not all of his meal in a day. If you look closely at his breakfast meal, he says that he repeats this mid-morning.

You split the meals in two so you don’t get as high of an insulin release from too much carbs at one time.
