The Gunslinger Series books 1-3 by Stephen King
The Red & The Black by Stendhal
For anyone who cares, I picked Catch 22 for my school project.
So far it’s a decent book (I’m only on chapter 4 though). I was actually laughing out loud at one part.
Catch 22: Phenomenal book, but it can be hard to get into because of the non-linear chapter storylines.
Count of Monte Cristo: Amazing, I got chills when Fernand realized that Dantes was the Count.
Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy: Screw the movie; read the book. Very clever and humorous writing.
Lord the the Rings
Anything by Preston & Lincoln-Child: These guys have written tons of action/mystery novels. The books with Pendergast are the best; the series starts with RELIC.
