other than everclear i love absinth! its not legal in america but i get it from a web site. It has a psychoactive drug in it called thujone and its 140 proof. it fucks me up pretty good.

I remember hearing that artists used to drink absinthe. It purportedly drove some of them insane.

People wrongly assumed that it was the elixirs they drank to soften the pain of their women’s constant nagging at them to get a real job. It was actually their women that drove them insane.

Hehehe…good one. =)

Cold beer:
Hieneken, Shiner, Fosters, Coors, Lone Star, Pabst Blue Ribbon, etc.–Sometimes you want pricey, sometimes you want trashy.

Mixed drinks:
7&7, Crown and coke, vodka tonic, vodka7

Shots:
Jager, tequila, whiskey–used to have a favorite pre-bar warmup round of shots of something called a 7-Headed Dragon that worked wonders.

I like vodka tonics and vodka cranberries.

My fav vodka drinks are Grey Goose, Belevidere(sp is bad, LOL) and Kettle One.

I dig Sam Adams and La fin Due Monde beer.

Forgot to put in Alaskan Amber and Blue Moon.

Me thinks I might have to have one right now…

I have been to Texas three times since December and everytime I drink Shiner Bock. Good shit! Just wish I could get it in my area.

What are you on your period?

I like a good quality rum (not Bacardi) or whiskey (irish usually, or single-malt scotch sometimes) straight up. That’s about the only way I drink liquor. I’ll have an occasional mai tai if they’re putting Myer’s in it.
What is a good quality rum anyways? They all taste like crap to me.

Mixed drink: Mint Julep. Not some watered down crap either, if you make em good it should be basically bourbon with some sugar in it and some mint sprigs. (if someone tells you to make it with half water half bourbon feel free to kick them in the nuts)

Other than that red stripe or fat tire.

ice cold beer, any kind

Vodka on the rocks with a squeeze from a lemon wedge.

Jager, ice cold, in any form; and as far as beer goes, blue

BMW (one shot each of Bailey’s Irish Cream, Rum, and Single malt Whisky) over ice.

In America: Sam Adams (all flavors), Guiness, Killians Irish Red.

Prefered of all, what Im used to in Germany.

Vodka and cranberry juice is a Cape Cod!

I grew up in New England and now I go to school in Texas. To cope with this exile I drink Cape Cods nightly. They are best as previously said with at least double vodka, and Ocean Spray Cranapple, lime garnish.

They are also good if you feel nauseous from weird food. Vodka kills foreign bacteria in the stomach.

Shiner Bock
Dirty Gin Martinis
J&B on the rocks.
Jagerbombs.

But what I normally drink is Natty light or Keystone light, it depends on which is cheaper that week.

Collegiate drinking for the win.

Ipswich Original Ale was a staple in my fridge while I lived in Boston and could actually get it. Magic Hat beers are great too.

Duvel is hands down the best beer I’ve ever had, but it’s too expensive.
duvel gets less expensive if you consider it’s kinda like 2 beers in 1. i used to live in ipswich, that is good beer. lately i’ve been into some belgian stuff: st bernardus abbey 12. that and there’s some recently available 2001 bordeaux that’re really good and not alot of money.

Two Words. Bull Blaster!

Two dollars on Sat at my local.

What is in an Irish Car Bomb?

1/2 shot Jameson Irish Whiskey
1/2 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream

1/2 pint of Guinness

Drop the shot glass with whiskey/cream into 1/2 pint of Guinness and slam the fucker down. Fantastic.
Half shots? I used full. Hmm. Perhaps thats why the night went all hazy. I downed 4 or 5 of those things on new years, along with a couple glasses of Jameson. No recollection past 12am, but I guess i had a blast!

I rarely ever drink anymore, but when I used to my favorite was Washington Apples
2oz crown royal
2oz green apple pucker
2-3 oz of cranberry juice

I also love amareto sours

My dad used to get this rum from Grand Cayman that is heaven. I don’t remember what it is called. Earlier this year I went to a friend’s apartment after a bar hop and he opened a bottle of really nice Venezuelan rum. We finished it and damn it was good. Good rum is pretty rare though, I agree.

This thread has caused me to look forward to turning 21 even more.

My regular beer of choice is Carlton Draught. Check out their latest ad here:

I have been having the odd jager bomb lately which always goes down well.
