Favorite beer

Everything Axy? Think again.
I had some of my worst hangovers from beer, and I stay away from it. Stella Artois is not bad, though.

Miller High Life

PBR is now the “trendy beer” amoungst, the young hipsters, and you cam find it all over town. Theres a place down the street that sells for a buck 1.50 a pint. Theres nothing like standing in a river with an ice cold PBR on a hot summer day, fishing for steelhead.

dynosaur13- Fat tire is O.K , but you should try boont amber, it is a much better beer.

Pabst!? I wouldn’t wash my drive way with that shit…It’s liquid headache. I am a beer snob…I like czech beers mainly. Currentely the original Buwieser , sold in this country a Czechvar…Is most excelent. I highly recommend it to anybody who likes beer.

I’m not touching beer until Biotest makes some!

Well, I’m a teenager. A broke teenager with no job. Does this mean I don’t drink beer? Yeah right! But you guys would never like what I drink. King Cobra 40ounce anyone? Haha! It tastes like shit, but for $1.50, it’s a bargain. One of them things will tear you up! Now, if you’re not looking to get “tore up,” and you’d just like to enjoy a brew, I guess my next pick would be Ice House. It’s too expensive to buy regularly though. For me atleast.

Ahhh Defex, you bring back soooo many memories. heh heh The days of drinking Blue Bull or Schlitz Malt 40ozs, sitt’n on the front porch smoke’n a fattie, listen’n to Snoop. Those days are long gone now,… but thanks for the memories anyways.

I have a top three list. I regularly drink Budweiser. That is when I go out. I drink Corona extra when not in a bar. There is something about Corona and Texas weather that go together. And the beer of all beers, since I am Czech, is Pilsner Urquel.(sp?) I forgot the spelling. It is the first pilsner ever made. I drink it when I go to the Czech Republic, or when I have someone bring me some. It is for special occasions. I can get it here in the states, but it ain’t the same. And Bill, PBR is still around. We used to get kegs of that stuff in High School. Not a bad beer, for the money.

I would say Either Spatan Oktoberfest…

Or Weinstephaner Korbrian

Sam Adams and Pete’s Wicked would be my 2 defaults.

Nothing like a cold Corona with lime!

I used to brew my own, and if Biotest wil put up the cash, i will be happy to do some “research and devlopment”

Ok, I have several that I really like so its hard to limit to one.

Fav beer at home- Sam Adams
Fav beer on tap at bar- Sierra Nevada
Fav cheap bottle beer at bar- Budweiser
Fav not so cheap beer at bar- Sam Adams
Fav mexican beer at bar or restaurant- Pacifico
Fav cheap mexican beer in can- Tecate
Fav beer on hot humid eve in Indiana- Red Stripe
Fav hard to find beer out west- Ruby Moutain Amber

OK, really it’s Whistler Black Tusk Ale so far. It’s dark but not like a porter. It’s hoppy like an ESB. It’s just good to drink.

Anyone living in the upstate New York area can get Ithaca Beers; Ithaca Honey Nut Brown & Apricot Summer are too good!! Other than these micros I’ve gotta give Labatt’s Blue Light it’s due. Everyone, here in Rochester, drinks that.

Man, my sister lives up in Binghamton. That is the land of Gennessee! Gennee cream ale is the best cheap shit beer ever made as far as I’m concerned.

This post brings back a lot of memories for me. Back in my HS and college days all my boys would go for Olde English 800 40oz. It tasted like crap but where I grew up it was still the beer of choice for all the friends I grew up with. We were pretty ghetto though and we stayed away from the beer most times and went with some Mad Dog 20/20 or Nighttrain.

My no. 1 beer is of course Guiness. Here are some others in no particular order. Murphy’s irish stout, Pete’s wicked red, Sam adams white ale, boston ale and cream stout. For Canuck beers, I like Sleeman’s cream ale, Creemore springs lager, La fin du monde(9%), blanche de chambly, Molson ex, Labatt 50, any Wellington brewery ales. There are many more that I can’t think of right now. Mostly I prefer stouts and ales. Don’t like lager or pilsner as much. I’m dieting right now and haven’t had a beer in two months. It’s killing me. I love beer. The result of working my way through university as a bartender.

Sam Adams, lager or cherry wheat.

Guiness, Coors Gold, Castle Lager (from South Africa, so good).
