Fast Five Trailer

On Any Sunday is older than dirt, from 1971. It’s a documentary that was nominated for an Academy Award, and it was a movie that really brought motorcycle culture into the mainstream. There are a lot of good racing sequences - flat track, GP, hill climb. Steve McQueen is featured, along with several pro racers. I like that there is no CGI, no camera tricks, just bikes and riders.

It’s Letty and she died awhile ago dude.

I didnt read the thread but I watched the trailer… It looks WAAAAY better than the last 4 F&F movies

I love The Rock… I hope he whips some Vin D ass (but that probably wont happen because if they’re on screen together Johnson will make Vin look tiny lol)

I’ll definitely see it… The Rock is awesome

also, Tyrese (sp?) is super short. I played basketball with him at a LA Fitness a few times. hes like 5’6" or 5’7"

(^^Pretty much just a name drop… no big deal)

I can’t tell if you are joking. I don’t remember bikes in that.
This?
Ok, I got the movies mixed up…but still that is not a whole movie about bikers and the life style surrounding riding. It DESERVES its own movie and I don’t even hate them for Torque. It is just that they seemed to shut down any further projects because that one didn’t sit well with critics.

The movie Biker Boyz SUCKS. I dare someone to say that was a good movie.
Good movie…and:

DMX - Ruff Ryders' Anthem - YouTube here is your movie…well it’s a musical, but you get the idea.

Yeah, that’s a great documentary, as are several nowadays that cover the sport, but a fictional movie put out in Hollywood needs to be done.

Anything that’s even remotely feasible with some badass sportbikes would be great.

Can someone get on that please?

I’m looking forward to:

 1. Battlefield Los Angeles (Aliens taking over the world i.e Independence Day meets Black Hawk Down)

 2. Super 8 (JJ Abrahms mystery movie (aliens? area 51?) youtube trailer)

 3. Hangover 2

 4. Cowboys and Aliens

 5. Captain America
Holy shit, an actual list of 5 movies. However have not seen enough of Super 8 to feel even curious.

I will put my money on the counter to see most any action attempt by Hollywood. And I was excited when I seen the cast list but something happened when I watched he trailer… I it just didn’t click you know give me that “Damn this goes on the can’t wait till Spring List”

Hope it’s a smash Hit because I can’t take another long list of Slacker sloth 100lb soaking wet action stars.
The 80’s Early 90’s may have had some cheesy action movies but at least you felt like the hero could actually do most of the shyt on screen.

Agreed, also, some documentary from the 60’s will not tell you anything about the sportbike culture that has grown in most big cities.

Sportbike riders are usually quite different from Harley riders. There is a different attitude, and most Harley riders I see around here are old guys with huge guts.

The sportbike culture seems to be more younger guys with a more tribal feel between them. Whenever we rode as a group, there is usually a leader.

I will say the lines are being blurred because now cruisers are becoming more and more popular even among younger riders, but again, these are usually not the “Harley” types.

It’s filmed in Brazil so Brazilian hotties are good. I’m glad that they’re uising muscle cars and not ricers, remember folks there is no replacement for displacement, and their 1.8 liter engines are less than my diet mountain dew bottles

You guys suck. That looks like a better movie than any of the previous ones. Plus, how many car movies have been made that are actually watchable aside from these?

I am STILL waiting on a really decent motorcycle movie because one has not been made yet…and I’ve seen that popcorn Torque movie 500 times just because there are bikes in it.

It’s just not fair.

But yeah, acting like Vin Diesel is on his death bed is lame. He’s older…just like the rest of you…and still in shape if not bigger than he was before.
Tron?

We’ll see (I hope they do focus quite a bit on the cycles). That comes out this month I think.

Yeah, I’ll go see it. I was too young when the first one came out to really follow the plot and I haven’t seen it since I was little.

Still, it is not a Motorcycle Movie.

Dude, do you guys ride? A 60’s movie about bikes doesn’t have anything to do with the bike culture today.

?

How many times have I written “SPORT BIKES”?

The reason you keep mentioning the same types of bike riders is because that is all you’ve seen in movies. Torque was the first movie I can think (aside from Biker Boyz Shit) that focused on SPORT BIKE culture.

They are not the same.

True true. Well this is a start.
