I ended up having to do an auto draft, had work. So I got Romo and Sanchez, (not in T-Nation league) and they play each other week 1. Who would you gurus start?
Absolutely Sanchez. Although Romo has better weapons(imo), the Jets will shut them down. Revis will cause shutdown Austin and Cromartie will help cover Bryant. Right now, Dallas has one of the poorest passing defenses in the league. Although Romo is superior to Sanchez, go with Sanchez.
I’d take Romo. Jets are a run heavy team, and other than Holmes, Sanchez is throwing to Plax and Mason…
Sanchez is a bad quarterback and Romo is a good quarterback, I really don’t understand why this is an argument.
If he was wanting just one for the season then absolutely Romo. But with this matchup and the injuries Dallas has right now, Alex Smith would perform well. Jets are run heavy but they know Dallas’s weakness right now is their coverage. You cant just look at the QB but the whole matchup and players involved.
I did, and that’s why I said I’d take Romo.
And you may be right. We shall see. I can be alil biased so my arguments can be swayed ;].

hmmm, on my team, Greg Jennings did some work for me today, Colston and Finley, not so much… not sure if I will win this week. ;|
Matchup consideration matters, but you can overthink it when there is a real talent difference between your two options, that’s my only point.

Hahahahaha wait wait wait …Hahahaha…wait wait wait…Hahahaha did you just compliment a Dalllas player over a jet?

I hate Dallas because of the old NFC playoff battles with the Niners, but, I separate emotion from talent in fantasy. Hell, I drafted Romo in TN league.
Okay, my friend obviously heard about manning and didn’t take the trade. So now i’m stuck for a while without a good qb, maybe the whole season fml… -___-
On waivers there’s Alex Smith, Sanchez, and I have Kyle Orton… My other friend is also really hyping of Colt McCoy, he’s been saying McCoy will have an amazing year… He’s usually right about these type of things. Thoughts? lol

I actually like Orton well enough, though I’m not sure if it was McDaniels’s offense that gave him his numbers (who’s been fired). McCoy has definite potential but he’s far from a sure thing.

x2. I like McCoy and the Browns this seaso but Orton is proven, although as noted above, Fox is an old school guy so you wont have as much of a gunslinger passing game. Smith is way too elite for you. You cant handle the Smith Machine…
Justin Tuck is still questionable at this point, so alot hedges on if he plays, but I believe that the Bills are gonna give the chiefs a run for their money this week, fitzpatrick to Johnson early and often. Bills are not as bad as their record shows…I still dont trust hightower. Go with Johnson.
As far as Sanchez, being a bad QB thats a ridiculous blanket statement, is he a good fantasy QB at this point, no…but when Revis shuts down every big receiver in the league, its something to consider. In fact 2 years ago in my semitfinal game I chose to sit Wayne as he had revis going against him, I started Jabar fucking Gafney , Wayne was held to 30 yds and would of gave me 6pts in this league, I started gafney and he had 70 and a score.
What I am saying is that Revis is so good that you may have to reconsider who you start at receiver.
HOWEVER, with a QB espescially week 1 I believe you do not fuck around and start your studs and let the chips fall where they may. Romo will look at other receivers and and you will get points that way…I believe this will be a much higher scoring game than people think…Sanchez to Holmes will be a constant phrase you here all day.
If you have Austin I would definitley consider sitting him because revis is such a neutralizer
man thats a tough one, I think they both will give you good games, obviously Orton against the Raiders sans Namdi, but also Orton is awesome at home and I think the Broncos are playing at home. Sanchez should have a field day (no newman) too but the Jets are more run oriented than the Broncos…I say Orton as he is the better fantasy QB, and is awesome when he plays at home.
Okay so was at a job site out of town till 6:30 last night, drive like bat out of hell to get to Hotel before kick off. A casino resort no less is what my boss put me up in.
NO FREE WIFI. So I could not set line up or anything. FML

Fair enough, I dont draft Cowboys players on Fantasy.
If Cowboys lose I get in bad mood.
If I also lose fantasy game because of Cowboys players even in worse mood.
This is my first year playing fantasy football. Now I see that this is crack for middle aged guys.
Need advice. Romo is my starter and Eli Manning is my back up. I’m benching Romo since he’s playing the Jets. I like the Manning/ 'skins match up better. Thoughts?
