I just realized WC bumped this thread on the exact same date as last year when he created it, sneaky fuckin’ russian lol.
I know it’s weeks away but does anyone feel like they’ve got to cram or something for the draft? The lockout makes me feel like I have to catch up because everything stopped dead for 132 days, weird. I had to actually think hard for a second to remember the first pick of the draft.
Hey guys when does the moneyneed to be sent? My internet will be down at home and I may not have a chance to get it in till next week?

I’m German/American, dick! Yea that is pretty creepy though, I guess the NFL just runs in my blood.
There are now 16 invites that have been sent out, 12 teams have joined, so we’re already going to have a pretty epic league.
League dues ($30) should be sent to MattyXL ASAP. His address is listed on the league homepage. Those who have not paid a week prior to the draft will be cut.

Yeah it’s funny, because I feel the same way. Apparently there was (briefly) discussion on pushing the season back a week but in reality the current schedule begins 45 days from the start of camp, and it’s usually 52 days…so while we haven’t been inundated with the typical offseason coverage and it feels like things are so rushed, players/coaches have really only lost a week of “real” time. Might affect the time starters play in preseason games but that’s it…

So ranking predictions, does everyone think that AP should be #1? I went on the predraft rankings and I just dont know if Peterson would be my #1 pick.

If the vikings get mcnabb AP will probably be a #1 in most league.
I’d take AP number 1 he is very consistent and gets a lot of TD’s. After that I’d take CJ, I think Jamaal Charles is a more dangerous back but he has to split carries and loses a lot of red zone work. I’ll definitely be looking at WR early in first round due to rise in backfield commities. Of course I could be lying to try and throw everyone off for the draft.
Well to me it is always how the league is scored, my family league I run is more QB centered. TN is more RB centered. I will not say who I would want #1, this is sparta come on guys.
and btw I vote for sept. 4th (or thereabout) at least after the 3rd preseason week
Sept 3rd I have my other league draft at 2 pm but I am the commish so I can change it. I agree though the later the better after rosters are set and preseason is done and the injuries are completed.
