Who are we sending the check to and for how much again?

$20 I think, the address is on the league homepage.
WTF is with Yahoo, I put a waiver thing in two days ago to drop a player and add a player and it’s still not happened yet. The other two moves I made were done in less than a day. Anyone had this take this long for them?
If you made a waiver claim on Monday…I believe all games must be finished and then waiver period is one day

I just got this message in my email:
Hello,
Sorry, but the waiver request you made in Testosterone Nation has been denied.
Player Dropped: Gresham, Jermaine
Player Added : Keller, Dustin
This happened for the following reason:
There was another manager with a higher waiver priority requesting the player.
–Fantasy Football Commissioner
Does this mean that someone else wanted Keller and the reason I didn’t get him was because I’m doing better than the other guy who wanted him?
I’m learning on the go here.

Sounds like it. We used to run our league like this and it’s certainly better than first come first serve. We actually switched to a FAAB (free agent aquisition budget) where each owner gets $100 for the season and each wednesday, thurs friday and saturday an auction runs. Whoever bids the most for a player wins. you could bid $100 or 0, depends on how bad you want a guy and how much you think everyone else wants him. But once you run out of your 100 it’s 0 dolar bids for you for anyone else. If you tie, it falls back on the waiver order, which is essentially who is doing worse combined with who has used a waiver pick recently. So say if you have two teams with 1-2 records who both put in $50 for keller but one guy had used a waiver pickup the week before and one didn’t the guy who had already made a waiver claim would get bumped lower on the list than the guy who had not made a waiver claim.
Anyways, it’s a little complex, but it adds a bit of strategy into the regular season. Instead of the worst teams getting all the free agents.

yeah thats how waivers works, though I didnt think it reset after every week I thought it rolls througout the season
Andre Johnson and Jahvid Best are both day-to-day. Matty, this might be a guaranteed win for you…

That’s hilarious that they sent you a well crafted letter to deny your waiver request, what a polite computer.
So…
I was happy I stuck with Orton over Palmer by far last week, but do I do it again with Palmer play the Browns and Orton playing a respectable Tennessee secondary?
Also, is beautiful Anquan Boldin benchable against a Steelers D? I have Braylon Edwards and Brandon Lloyd on my bench.

I say no, Pittsburgh’s pass defense is in the middle of the pack (16 or 17th) against the pass. To me Boldin is a must start every week. Buffalo’s D against the pass is very similar to that of Pitt statistically, Edwards is very unreliable as a week to week receiver. The Bills Jet game may be a blowout which means that the Jets may go to the run early and often. Lloyd is a sit in my book against the Titans, who give up under 200 yds a game passing. With that said I start Palmer who will throw for 2 scores against Cleveland, Orton will have a more pedestrian game against the titan secondary.
just my .02

I am going to take half your advice… leave Boldin and Orton in. Palmer has just been so shitty. I demand 2 good games from him before I switch back to him.
fantasy sit/starts stress me out. I can’t decide to go with my gut or go with logic. Then after thinking about it for way too long of a time i can no longer decipher which is the gut feeling and which is logical. AHHHHHHHHHHH

Honestly, don’t take more than 5 seconds to decide between two players. You’ll waste your day and probably way over think the situation, which I think is a very common problem in fantasy. Just match 'em up, select one, and go with it, and move onto the next set of players.

These are important decisions maybe wait until about 3 o’clock tomorrow I really think that will be the perfect time.
Just traded away Arian Foster and got MJD. Thoughts? I’m definitely a buy-low guy so I am very happy with this trade.

I think you’ll be happy in the long run; Foster blew his load. MJD will wake up eventually.
I started Boldin over Braylon and Lloyd. Both Braylon and Lloyd did better than Boldin. Rage!!
