But I have Miles Austin, Tony Romo, and Mario Manningham… fuuuuuuuaurk[/quote]
It surprises me every year and it really shouldn’t, but the amount of injuries in the NFL is insane. This sport is far and away the gladiator games of contemporary society.
The 'Boys in particular are getting wrecked injury-wise. I have Felix and thought he’d be a great sleeper this year.

I would have told you to stay away from Felix but well you know alls fair in love and war.
WC your comment about the gladiator and injuries is what I argue with old football fans. I hear all the time that the NFL is getting “weak” or pussyfied and I always bring up the argument that I do not think people really appreciate the speed of this game.
Plus with what teams have to do to manage a 53 man roster where they spend there money etc, a couple of key injures can blow a whole year.
Also I will say that look at us bitching about our FANTASY TEAMS injuries, how can you not have some sympathy for a HC or GM when this could mean your JOB. Not bragging rights on the internet.

Because they have a couple zeros at the end of their salaries that I don’t have…
They are there to win and entertain me while doing so, and they get paid for the pressure.
I do not feel bad. That is like feeling bad for the CEO who’s severance package is bigger than any money anyone in my family will earn in the last 15 generations and the next 15. And it is in part, their fault I won’t earn that much money.

Good point cant argue with that.
Maybe I just have a soft spot because I really really wish I could have chosen that career path. Not for the money just to be in that type of atmosphere.

Speaking of injuries WC, seeing as Edwards is out I have Ted Ginn, think he can get more touches as a wideout this week?. I’m putting him in no matter what as a RB/WR but you watch the games, can the guy catch?, we know he’s fast as hell.
I think I did more roster moves in the last two days than I did all last year. Is that because we had so many teams this year?

Honestly, I’d stay away from all 49ers. Alex Smith revealed that he got a concussion last Sunday. He wasn’t anything special to begin with, but now the leader of the offense is down a wide receiver and a lot of brain cells…
picked up Ryan Fitzgerald… it was either him or Cam Newton, and Cam Newton got picked up before I snagged him.
So this weekend it will probably be Ryan Fitz and Eli Manning starting… don’t have much confidence in the Cowboys or Romo right now, IF Romo even plays.
also I have Johnny Knox starting this week. Miles Austin/Marques Colston are out, and Mario Manningham is questionable, and I don’t have faith in starting Lance Moore after he’s coming back from his injury and his 0.5 points last week, hah!
