Alright fellas, I’m 2-1 and going against the best team in the league. Both my kicker Kasay and Arizona’s D have a bye week this week and I’m playing against the best team. I have 8 add/drops for the year, 2 of which I used.
I was just going to bench them and call this week a wash to avoid replacing my K and DEF, and then replacin them again when my new players inevitable bye week comes up.
However, I’m closer than I thought because he has injuries, and I’m thinking about picking up another DEF- the Broncos, to sub in.
My question is - do any of you think Derrick Ward will pick up? He’s the only one I’m willing to drop to pick up another DEF, and I’m tired of watching TB suck it up.
I think Ward will do better than last week. The Bucs really can’t do worse than what they did against the Giants. Although if i had him on my team i would probably never start him unless i was desperate.
Why does your team only have 8 moves? that is ridiculous considering how many injuries there are throughout the football season.

The guy who started the league wanted to put a lot of emphasis on drafting well. I’m the commissioner but he collects the money, so 8 was the most I could get out of him.
I’m going to try for 10 or 12 next year I think, because 8 is a pain in the ass… but you really end up thinking about moves before you make them, I’ll tell you that.
As far as Ward goes His saving grace is that he can catch balls out of the backfield so in turn that will make him valuable even when they will be playing from behind (which will be very often), also with an unproven QB now starting his best friends will definitelty be a back who can catch passes and a pass catching TE in which he has both. I also think they realize that Cadillac is simply not going to stay healthy his knee is already swelling up which is a shame. SO D. Ward will still be effective, but temper your sights because of the team he plays on.
Shit Im in a 14 team keeper league and an auction league, I would never just drop him but Im assuming u are in a small league
