I believe that was in Japan^^^^
I just rescued a dog from a kill shelter as well.
He is attached to my hip as I type sitting in my recliner. :)
Good feeling, is’t it?
Yes it is.

It’s hard to be mad when you know it’s love.

From 5:54 to the end describes my feelings about dogs. They are awesome!

Loved that. Damn hilar!
I love how the police just let him do his thing. No one bothers him. Someone better damn well adopt that dog! I’m amazed he’s still in the shelter.
EDIT: That vid was uploaded in to Youtube in 2009.
I’ve actually spent hours at a time watching videos like this on youtube. Always chokes me up. Anyone who has ever had any hardships in their lives knows the amazing feeling of loyalty, and unwavering love that is shared between a dog and its master.
I have a photo of my old Husky, Dragon, next to my bed. I had to put him down in '07 and I still tear up when I think about him. My current ‘pup’ (8 years old) is a smaller breed and she comes with me everywhere. Bill Burr hit it on the head when he talks about having the worst day ever, and how coming home to your dog just puts everything into perspective.

Ha, I thought at first glance she was under your sweater. Sorry you had to lose Dragon that must have been heart breaking.
So you take Koda everywhere too, huh? ![]()
Vacation’s too?
I have real hard time leaving him when we go on a trip/vacation. we found a really good place where he is safe for a couple of days, but I am starting to prefer road trips so I can take the little bugger with me:)

My pop doesnt do shelters lol. If were leaving for a significant amount of time theres this awesome lady who runs a dog sitting business by me. they come multiple times a day, walk, feed, play, lights, mail etc. and really treat her well and she gets to stay home. That can get pricey so if were gone for a while we just pay someone to house sit, which works out well too.
