I purge mine every 8 months or so. lol. I know some people that never clear out those they never interact with and have 1000+ friends. Craziness.

Honestly, facebook is nothing more than a vehicle for me to abuse people on and a place to keep in contact with girls I have, or might one day, bang or bang again. I refer to it as “The Bullpen.”
If you really give any serious thought to any of it, or the shit that goes on on the internet, you need a fuckin life.

I have like 60 friends on FB lol… I actually talk to them all though
Facebook was great years back when you had to have a university email to sign up. A great way to network with my college friends. Now it’s like my aunt and grandma were friending me which was super lame. I deleted mine about a month ago and don’t regret it at all. My friend said it best that if someone really wants to know how you are they will call you, not check your facebook status.
All I use it is to play some facebook games.
Facebook was cool when it was exclusive, when I signed up it wasn’t even at all colleges yet. Once I got a real job after graduation and found out employers monitor that shit I got the fuck off of it (I’ve probably been off of facebook for 3 years). I didn’t think it was cool anymore once people parents and kids started having facebook anyway.
And as an FYI - they never delete your account (at least I don’t think they do). My accound had been deactivated for a couple of years when someone hacked it and re-activated it. I came home from the gym and had welcome back to facebook e-mails - WTF! When I contacted facebook they supposedly deleted my account but I have no desire to try and log-in just to see if it’s still there (which it probably is).

I have 1051 “friends” on facebook. I have only denied an asshole from my troop in the army and one of my ex GFs.
I have however filtered the “home” page heavily, so I only get feeds from people of interest. I find it is a good way to keep in touch with people from other countries which I meet once or twice a year. I still dont spend more than 5 minutes a day at the most. I have considered deleting the account, but the pros outweigh the cons atm.

lol well that’s the problem right there. (but I know you’re kidding)
I did enjoy having a page and it was a good way for me to keep in touch with family since most of them are on the other side of the country or overseas but in the end it was the creeps that made it no longer worthwhile. It might be better now, but the privacy controls were shit and you have no control over the people who your friends and family add or how they treat your photos.
