Exotic Pets

Nice, Squiggles. Nice collection, and I officially pronounce you not crazy. Hey, wanna get together, give that 15 foot python of yours some gear and maybe grow it up to 30 feet and split the million? Doc

Pile of boas

I have 7 snakes so far, would get more if my electricity bill wasn’t so high:

 • Ball Python, 4ft, a big baby who honest to God watches TV

 • Jungle Carpet Python, 7ft, has a 'tude, has given me enough pinhole scars for people to think I’m a crack addict

 • Red Tail Boa, 7 - 8ft, strongest beast ever. He’s never even shown aggression, but I’m really cautious around him now because he’s gotten so thick and I have no doubt he could kill me.

 • Blood Python, 4ft, 40-freakin-lbs, absolutely vicious. Like a demon possessed worm. I’m trying to get rid of him.

 • Milksnake, 6ft, annoying. I prefer boids.

 • Rainbow Boa, 5ft, most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen.

 • Macklot (freckled) python, 15ft and growing, looks like a turd, but is nice. Unfortunately the apartment I’m moving into I can’t even get his cage in the door, so he’s gotta go.

I seriously love snakes, and get pissed when people kill them.
Very cool!!!

One more…

Ha! Sounds like a plan. Never mind the pig farm we’ll have to start to feed him…

They are bci’s.

Let me know when you’re looking for ball python morphs. I will produce a bunch this season, plus I have some great contacts in the hobby.

I will pm you my website.

Beautiful boas LarryJr.

I used to have a ball python, great snake. Absolutely docile, only bit me twice (both times I made a stupid mistake).

I’ve often thought of getting another one. Only, if I had the money I’d love to get one of the more exotic color morphs (albinos are beautiful, snows are pretty awesome looking, and pie balds are just stunning).

But, I honestly think that I’d either have to hit the lottery or decide to get into breeding and selling snakes if I was going to spend the money for a pie bald.

Great thread.

Nice collection  And I know exactly what you are talking about with Blood Pythons, Perfect description of them. Very nasty foul tempered snake every single one of them that I have seen.

Here’s a few pictures from my last boa litter.

This first one is a hypo arabesque red tail boa. I’m keeping it, but it would sell for about $2k.
That’s a gorgeous snake.
