I generally think it’s important for everyone to understand math processes to the point where they can derive their own shortcuts…of course most people don’t study advanced calc to the point where short cuts make a huge difference in figuring out a problem.

However, most (if not all) shortcuts come from an understanding of the larger process…I think the age factor is irrelevant

Ugh. Traveling 2nd week in a row.

Only going to be about 3 hours away (don’t have to fly), but not turning up any gyms. I hate being on the road and not being able to lift.

Had a kick as gym in Tenn last week. Full of big, big people.

hey guys i just wanted to let you know that im going to squat 500# sometime. Not any time soon, but it will happen. Its been a goal of mine since i was 15, currently 22. Was well on my way there, 450 @ age 16, believe me or not i do not care in the least. Hurt myself pretty badly soon after that, have not come close since. Currently using 5/3/1 principles for big lifts. Im doing front squats instead of back squats right now because I can do them pain free. Ill transition back once i tap out my front squats. Just thought you all would really really like to hear that at some point in my life i will squat 500# then ill do more.
